I sprayed it on the bathroom dome and caused it to crack all the way across the dome. the dome already had a crack, the spray just made it crack completely by the next morning. It also reacts to itself when you spray it on anything and that causes it to bubble as if it's boiling. Unfortunately the bubbles seemed to have left paths that the rain could still get through. I wound up having to seal the seams 4 times before they finally sealed. Not worth it at all in my case.Re: Your opinion of this older M/HI agree with it being over priced. It's a 97, $60K is about $20K too high. The fridge looks original.Re: Snowbird cell phone plans?why not swing by a walmart and pick up a contract free phone. then toss it in the recycle bin when you leave.Re: What happened to camping/RVing?full hookups and this view included was for free. Re: tires for cargo trailer? If you go LT's just be sure to avoid the michelin LT's that just got recalled for tread separation.Re: tires for cargo trailer? JIMNLIN wrote: A 7000 lb trailer equate to 1750 lb per tire requirement. A ST225/75-15 C = 2150 lbs capacity or 8600 lbs gross. A good match especially if the trailer sits a lot and makes short local trips but as any ST your limited to 65 mph. A ST225/75-15 D = 2540 lbs per tire or 10160 lbs gross. Not a good match for a 7k trailer. hmm I must be missing something. You said the ST225/75-15 C = 2150 lbs capacity or 8600 lbs gross is a good match. But the higher capacity of a ST225/75-15 D = 2540 lbs per tire or 10160 lbs gross is not a good match? Did you post them backwards? FYI Radial RH's come in a 225/75-15 E rating with 2850lbs./tire (x4 = 11400).Re: Electrical Myth Salvo wrote: I sure did read them. Perhaps you didn't? All the curves go vertical at the rated current. It's just that the first curve's time is shortened before the curve goes "vertical". It's an incomplete curve because the author wanted to emphasize high-current and short duration breaker triggers. Don't let that fool you! Sal You're right however I needed to reread my own post before replying to you. I didnt have an issue with the 100% mark, just the absoluteness of it. they may blow at 100% or at some value higher than that. It's reason for the banded area, variability.Re: tires for cargo trailer?Hopefully you have 2 axles, thats a lot of weight for 15 inch tires. I have used carlisles 15" radial rh tires on my 5th for 2 years now and have made several cross country trips with the 5th sitting for many months at a time in between runs. They definitely run much cooler than any other trailer tire I have used. The big thing to remember is make sure your tire is sized correctly for the intended load. A 15% to 20% load capacity bigger than you need is a wise move. You really dont want to max out a tire. Heat is the number 1 killer. And be sure to use tire covers while you sit. the sun is the number 2 killer.Re: DP - Apply Throttle for Cold Weather Start? (That Depends) JetAonly wrote: The only thing I 'd add as an observation is that I typically use block heaters below 40F. I know the manufacturers don't require it, but I like the ease with which they start. you're doing the right thing. The main importance of block heating is reducing the chance of cold oil starvation. It doesn't splash well at all when it's the consistency of syrup and the cylinder walls need a lot of oil. Along with poor splashing it is also hard to pump and the rod and main bearings can really take a beating if you run up the rpms before the oil warms up. Friction and wear really goes up if you hammer it cold.Re: Electrical Myth Salvo wrote: I see nothing incorrect in the OP. The wording may be a bit odd, but the message is correct. Sal RVUSA wrote: Not everything, but I do know how to read breaker curves. :B then you didnt read it. "You will notice that the curves are vertical exactly at the 100% mark" Wrong, even the first graph shows that. Do some go vertical at 100% rated current, yes. Do ALL of them? No.
