Anybody know if the panel can be replaced?TransCanada Hwy, West to EastWe're planning a 2022 trip to the East Coast to view the Fall colors. From SoCal, I'd like to drive through Glacier NP into Canada and head East on the Trans Canada Hwy. We're spending a lot of time on the internet planning the segments, and it seems that RV parks are sparse. Anyone made that trip? Care to share your itinerary? Appreciate the suggestions.Re: Slides Won't (Open or Close)I need to clarify my previous post: the issue was exactly as MFL, Dick B, and Kellem described (again, a shout out and thank you!!) and if I had investigated further, I might have figured it out, but the FROG forum included a photo of the reset button, and, for dummies like me, a picture is worth a thousand words.Re: Slides Won't (Open or Close)I thank all of you who replied and assisted me with this issue. Ultimately, I went the Forest River Owners Group forum, and discovered that there is a small reset button on a cable block located near the battery box. It is hardly noticeable, and there is no obvious indicator that it has been tripped. I reset it, and all works once again. I've also realized that a mobile RV mechanic could become wealthy, as there don't seem to be many (reliable) ones around.Slides Won't (Open or Close)My 2018 Rockwood Fifth Wheel has four slides. It lives in my driveway connected to shore power. I recently opened it up to show it off, then closed three of the four slides. Realizing I hadn't closed the fourth, I attempted to do so, only to discover that none of the slides would now move. Three of the slides operate from a digital control panel, the fourth, a bedroom wardrobe, has a separate toggle. I've checked all fuses and breakers. I've reset the control panel. I attempted to override the Lippert controller, but I'm not sure it's getting power. I suspect there may be another in-line fuse somewhere but I don't know where else to look. I can't tow it to a repair shop, and I can't find a mobile repairman in my area. Any guidance or suggestion would be appreciated!!SoCal to East Coast Fall ColorsAs the subject title suggests, we're planning a trip to the East Coast later this year to view the Fall Colors. I'm sure plenty of you folks have done similar cruises, so I thought I'd pick your brains about routes and destinations, best months, must sees, etc. We're pulling a fifth wheel. Thanks in advance.CA, OR CoastI'm planning a trip in July from SoCal to Washington State towing a 33' fifth wheel. My thought is taking the coast north of the Bay Area, through Fort Bragg, and on into Oregon. I haven't been north of Fort Bragg in decades, but I remember it being slow. I have reservations at a number of parks en route. I guess my biggest concern is getting in and out of fuel stations. Am I likely to encounter accessible gas stations on that route? I have, in the past, dropped the trailer and fueled up the truck, but I'd rather not. Your experiences are appreciated.Re: Television Reception Options Bill.Satellite wrote: jpante4 has the correct info about the 'green' button. The biggest issue you will likely have with the Roku option is where you are going to get enough data. You will not be able to use a campground free Wi-Fi as they are over loaded and streaming is now usually being blocked. That means you need your own cellular data plan and even the "unlimited" plans tend to be highly limited before some kind of throttling takes place. I DO have an unlimited plan from Verizon. I came across an Apple device that plugs into the phone and uses an HDMI cable to the TV, allowing streaming video, but I thought I'd wait to see if anyone suggested that option before I bought one. I think it's less than fifty dollars. Thanks for the reply!!Re: Television Reception Options jplante4 wrote: It looks like this and is usually tucked into a cabinet near the TV Green light on for antenna, off for cable. Also, get an app called TV Antenna Helper to get the direction to point the antenna where you are. Yep!! Just were you said it would be!! Thanks! Now, to research all of the other suggestionsTelevision Reception OptionsGreetings, once again, Travelers and Adventurers. I have taken delivery of a new Rockwood 2895WS Fifth Wheel, though I have yet to spend a night in it. In anticipation of, and preparation for, our first trip, I was attempting to program the television here at home. The instructions for the Winegard Rayzar Z-1 advise me to turn on the antenna power supply and check for the green indicator light. If this was pointed out to me in my PDI, I missed it!! Anyone have any idea where I might find such a device on that model? The rig also has the WiFi Ranger, and I'm exploring methods of utilizing a smartphone or tablet with a Roku device to stream video to the TV. I'm sure it has been done, so I'm hoping someone who has already accomplished this will walk me through the process. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!!
