I liked the looks of it and orderd one and it came today. Nice unit indeed. I use the batteries installed and plug it in when I'm plugged in @ campsites. I like the look with the lights on. I have had the same batteries in for over 2 months now and it still works.Re: Show your mods!!Alum rod? I work at a heat exchanger company and have never seen alum anodes. usually zinc but anyways for our applications any anode should last longer then the camper will be around so I wouldnt worry about it. It's not like anyone is running salt water...lolRe: Show your mods!!Thanks. Took it out for a dry run over labor day weekend. 4 days and 3 nights and left with 2/3 Battery power left over. Very happy with that. Just need to get my Battery switch installed and should be all set.Re: Show your mods!!My latest mod. (Dual batteries) Made this at work with some scrap parts...:B Re: Show your mods!!Couple more small mods. Portable DVD stand in place of the TV....dry campin!!! Coon spotter!! Re: Show your mods!!Was trying to figure out a mod to store some fishing poles but they fit real nice behind the (slideout) couch, No mod needed :)Re: Show your mods!!Pretty easy for the weather station install. One screw on the inside and one outside to hold the remote receiver in place. The remote is detatchable from the base so we don't lose it during travel. JT, I agree about the HTT mods. I don't really go into the TT Threads that much.Re: Show your mods!!ohh....didn't see that one. Thanx and thanx:)Show your mods!!This is a removeable DVD stand I made out of conduit and wood for the back bunk in our Jayco 23B. swivels and tilted slightly. I also made one that will slide in the post where our regular TV sits for those "Dry camping" days!! Weather station. Clock installed above Dinette. No need to bring a chunk of wood with.
