The only Year around campground I can find is Tuggers Grill Bar & Campground (http://www.tuggersny.com/campground/)I have never stayed there. Most everything in that area is closed by Oct 15th. Last season I know NY State parks required you to use RA. I tried to extend a stay by going to the office, they told me I had to go online. At least they did tell me to make a separate reservation for the extension, otherwise I would have been charged a change fee which was about double the reservation fee.454Views0likes0CommentsRe: Early arrival.
Last year New York State parks strictly enforced 3pm check in. Arrived 20 minutes early, so sat and talked to the ranger for 20 minutes. They would not let us in until the strike of 3. They stated thats the rule, we follow the rules. I'm sure they enjoyed my 20 minutes of mindless banter. BTW they have relented on the strict enforcement this year.388Views0likes0Comments
