Picking up our first 5th wheel and dumping our TT this weekend!!!!:) Driving from NY to MI to pick it up. Any must have tips for me....this is the first time pulling a 5th...... Using 2007 Ram 2500 w the 6.7 CTD short bed.....dont have a 5th set up yet....getting it there.... Camper is a 2010 Chaparral 299TSB....is supposed to have modified front cone.....which is supposed to prevent me from needing a slider set up. Anyone have opion either way on the slider set up....keeping in mind i do have a short bed..... I use the bed of my truck all the time for equipment and tools etc....meaning i will be taking the setup out of the bed every time i am not using it. Will the slider install take more time and have more hardware to remove when not in use??? Any strong recommendations on 5th setups i should go with? Thanks CW422Views0likes0Comments
