I was responding in the regard that I had done what was suggested, but had a different outcome. What I have figured out since this morning is that my fresh water tank pick-up tube is frozen. I don't have heated tanks and I believe I would have been ok if my tank was full, but I failed to refill from my last stop where I did not have shore water.Re: unanticipated freezing tempsNo basement and tanks are not heated so that's why I worry so much Ok, got the shore water working, so seems like my on board pump is shot and not pumping versus frozen pipe. It only makes a humming sound so guess what I will be doing today! .Re: unanticipated freezing tempsHmmm...woke up this morning with no hot water in the bath sink or tub which is at the rear of the trailer. No shore water even though hose had heat tape and insulation. Furnace was run at 71 all night and came on about about every 6 minutes. Outside temps dropped to about 25 degrees where I'm currently parked near Richmond Va. The on board tank is providing hot and cold to the kitchen, but only cold to the bathroom. I opened all the access panels and none seem cold enough to cause freezing so I suppose the hot water pipe running from the kitchen to the bath under the flooring is the one frozen which I cannot access. In hindsight I should have dripped the faucet in the bath.Re: Just when you think you have checked everythingWOW! Glad I'm not the only one! I hate those type of windows. Unfortunately, it was late at night when we hit the road so I never saw the window depart from the trailer (hope it did not hit anyone). Did not know until we got home and the DH opened the door and then told me that we needed a new blind cause one had fell apart and was all over the floor in pieces. My first thought was how could that be? Ended up replacing with an upgraded combination escape/slider window which is much better secured and since you can slide open for air you don't touch the emergency exit latches.Re: New member, long time RV'er.Welcome! This forum is great and has a lot of good info and ideas! Enjoy!Re: Sorry Now I have pictures, LOLMy wife and I tented for 20 years with our kids from the cradle up. We did this mostly because we towed a boat. Two years ago my job took me to Green Bay, Wisconsin.....too cold in a tent for a Virginia boy, sold the boat and picked up a TT. Love it! rain or shine!Re: Dexter HD Suspension & EZ-Flex Install (long w/ pictures)Thanks Amdriven! I have a large C clamp that I use on a lot of things but I think I will go ahead and get the ball joint tool just to save me some frustration. I'm sure that once I do my TT our friends will want to do theirs (they are already asking a lot of questions about it. The tool should pay for itself. I really like the fact that each bolt can be greased.Re: Dexter HD Suspension & EZ-Flex Install (long w/ pictures)I'm new to RVing and learning alot from you guys! Thanks for sharing all your hard work making it easy for the rest of us. I am really interested in making this mod to my TT after reading this. Even though it is an '09 model some of the roads beat me to death! On certian portions (concrete sections)I can hardly talk to my wife sitting next me due to the jerking and bounce that does a number on our voice waves! Once I get my coach out of storage and look at the setup I will be ordering the EZ-Flex and the shocks! After tenting for 20 years we are loving our TT!!!
