New to the forum - Reentering camping with an 02 Jayco Quest 5th wheel, 26 feet. Need a truck. I thought the trucks GVWR had to be over the weight of the trailer (with cargo, people, etc). Is that correct? Think the trailer is 8600 lbs,but am going to check with Jayco. Looks to us that no 1/2 ton would do it, so thinking 3/4 ton. Looking at this real weights post however, I am thinking I may have it wrong as it appears quite a few of the trailers exceed the tow vehicles rating? Can someone help?? Thanks!!
