also am concerned with burning out my trucks alternator with charging the lithiums while traveling. Valid! Charge Controller and Battery Management System needed to safely utilize long life potential of LiFePO4 cells. Bad idea mentioned to use wire size to regulate electricity like a fuseable link! Controller modules add to cost and life of battery pack.

Assuming the refrigerator doesn't draw more than the 2000W and some kind of battery in the loop. A DC-DC charger of min. 20 amps off the alternator should have some excess charge.

We just got a set of Timbren to try this spring. I like the reports from years of users experience / no maintenance and lifetime warranty. About the same price as air bags. 2Z Bundok 94 GMC k2500 6.5TD 97 Shadow Cruiser
