The campground in Florida has questionable water so this is a big improvement for us.Re: Generator started on its ownThere was a problem with the Magnum Energy RC-50 remote control a while back. My 2007 Revolution had one to the problem units. It would start on it’s own (with out being wet). I don’t know what years were included but it didn’t affect the 2006 vehicles. I contacted Onan with the serial number and sent the unit in. They sent me a new one without charge. DaveRe: So who really uses the coach dishwasherSold the oven on eBay and purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher (new) and a ss cooktop (slightly used) at the same site. Net cost was $300 and some work. Also ended up with space for a huge drawer for pots and pans below the dishwasher. Made me a happy camper. My wife doesn't do the dishes while camping! Dave 07 Revolution 40ERe: Rearend wobble on NewmarThere is a known problem with wobble that happens when flat towing several makes of cars (including my Malibu). When in a turn and you hit a bump it sets off the tow car causing the front tires to wobble back and forth so badly that you think is coach has a serious problem like a flat tire or the rear axle is coming off! Upon investigation, it happens on vehicles that have electric power steering. One time it happened I remembered to check the rear camera and was surprised to how badly the car shook. Some have used a strap or bung cord on the steering wheel to the door post (like a tow truck operator would do) to minimize the problem. Dave 07 RevolutionRe: roof seam sealantsI think Dicor is great for very small repairs that will not shrink and crack over time. For large seams and panel to panel gaps, you can't beat Eternabond tape. It's impossible to tear unless you cut it with an knife and the glue is a tough to get off if you stick it in the wrong place. My other 3 coaches had Dicor and I was always having to check and repair the caulking. My current coach was switched to Eternabond and now I just have to check and have never had to make a repair after 7 years of ownership. You have to remove the old caulk to apply new caulk anywway, so you might as well install the tape and be done with it. Dave 07 Revolution 40ERe: light upgradeI have replaced my 18" florescent fixtures with the 4 3/4" round LEDs that I flush mounted to the ceiling. I used a hole saw to cut the necessary recess. I probed for wires as best I could and only nicked one wire out of the 16 hole I drilled. I did have to make a "mask" to cover the indentations cause by the tube fixture between the pair of LED's. PM me for pictures. Dave 07 Revolution 40ERe: windshield motorized shadeI ordered my Automotion shades for the whole coach thru Brady and Hall. Best upgrade we have made and there have been a lot of them! I was able to use the existing dash switches for the windshield shades. Two years now and no problems. Did the install myself. Dave 07 Revolution 40ERe: Scary Dinghy EventI had the same problem with the wobble under similar conditions to the OP. We have a 2015 Chevy Malibu. I was sure that something had broken on the coach or the car. I pulled to the side (in a construction zone) and could not find a problem. I slowly pulled back on the road and carefully increased speed. There were no further problems. I didn't think to look in the rear view camera as I was concentrating on getting to the side of the road safely. The Malibu does have electric PS. Dave 07 Revolution 40ERe: 2000 Fleetwood Discovery 37GI have owned 3 Discoverys that were purchased new. I put 50K on the 2000 model in 3 years. It returned great fuel economy but was a little weak pulling a toad going up the mountains. The 03 and 04 had the CAT and were powerhouses in comparison. Dave 07 Revolution 40ERe: No spare tire holder on our 2011 Coachmen Mirada 29ds. What?I carry a spare because of the somewhat unusual size (295R80-22.5), I have room and it didn't cost anything. It's a take off from my last round of new tires with no cracks. It will at least get me to a tire dealer for a matching size and without waiting any longer than necessary for a service person to get to my location. Also, it seems that if I am prepared for a particular type of breakdown, it never happens! Dave 07 Rev 40E
