I tow a Passport Elite behind my JGC 3.0L CRD and the trailer reminds you that it's there every so often. The lowest mileage I've seen towing was about 15.5 MPG. No, mirrors are still necessary to see what's alongside you and your trailer. A rear camera will only replace the function of your rear view mirror and help with backing.
