We sold our Keystone (nothing but problems) and bought the Reflection 303 this past March. Absolutely love it! It has everything you are looking for other than the bed is a queen. Its 32' length and with opposing slides in the main living area so its very roomy. Grand Design has just about thought of everything including a USB charging area, 4 point auto leveling system, a fireplace/heater among many refinements. Its a beautiful unit and we are very happy with it.Re: Keystone Bullet PremierWe took our tt on the first camping trip of the season after de-winterizing earlier last week. Everything works great until it was time to go. I hooked up to the black water tank cleaner, turned on the water and my wife was soon yelling to stop. There was water pouring out from under the bathroom sink, in fact it was a reservoir of water in the bottom. We moped it up and then I had her turn on the water. The black valve in the picture is the culprit as it spewed water like a fountain. Has anybody had this problem? Do I simply replace the valve or is the cleaning jet clogged in the holding tank? Thanks, Kevin The clickable link is a picture of the valve under sinkRe: Kentucky lakes, where to camp? You may consider looking into either Hillman Ferry or Piney campgrounds. These are National Forest Service cg's located at opposite ends of LBL with Hillman Ferry being the Northern one. I can't speak for Hillman Ferry but we have camped at Piney before our kids took the training wheels off the bikes and they are now in their 20's. Piney is a large campground but spacious with a lot of activities geared towards kids. They have summer activity programs, basketball, baseball, a nice sandy beach, two boat ramps, a fishing pier, and a paved bike trail off thru the woods. This is a very family oriented campground located on the shore of Kentucky Lake. The 1850's home place is a great day trip as is the planetarium. I have a few pictures from a Halloween trip we took 6 or 7 years back. Piney It'll give you some idea of the campground.Re: St. Louis Mo. To Destin FloridaI have some camping buddy's who live in the St Louis area and when they travel to Destin they overnight at one of two places along the way. Texas T campground a bit North of the Alabama/Tennessee line or at: Northgate RV park 6 miles south of the TN border. Both are just off I-65 have full hook ups and are reasonably priced.Re: OBX bound travelers: Bridge is Closed: DetourJust got word from friends who live in Buxton that the bridge has opened back up today. They drove across it earlier today. :)ST. JOSEPH PENINSULA SP Cancelled, here is your chance! We were planning on going to ST. JOSEPH PENINSULA SP Site: 041 this coming Friday 11-22 thru the 29th but had to cancel due to a death in the family. Here is your chance to camp on the beach for Thanksgiving! Enjoy.Re: st joseph pennisula and st george island state parks NCWriter wrote: Another vote for the Owl Café in Apalachicola. We stumbled upon it in the old downtown, a block or two from the waterfront. A good spot if you want a lunch or dinner one day with nice atmosphere and food. No need to dress up but definitely a cut above seafood joints. Clicky for Owl Cafe The Owl is total awesomeness...and so is Up The Creek Raw Bar! They have a nice deck with some of it enclosed and some open, all sitting on the river where you can watch shrimpers and oyster boats pulling in from fishingRe: Saint George Island Florida twoppods wrote: I met a Guy about three years ago at SGI and he gave A route from Chattanooga to SGI and we stayed on it all the way and stayed mostly on 4 lanes and no small towns . I know we went thru Atlanta but that is all I can remember .You Guys have any ideals ??? If you are traveling from Cleveland TN you have a choice of either going thru Atlanta via I-75 or taking I-59 from Chattanooga to I-65 to Montgomery. Either way it would appear that you would go to Montgomery Alabama en route. We travel from Nashville and use I-65 to Montgomery from there we hit the 4 lane SR-231 all the way into Florida. We get on FL-SR 20 east (south of Fountain FL) and connect to SR 12 south to SR 65 south which takes you to East Point west on 319/89 and out to the island. It becomes 2 lane beginning SR 20 for the rest of the drive. I've traveled several different routes getting out to St George over the years and this one works best for me. We always stop for fresh seafood to take to camp with us at Lynn's Seafood market in East Point. There is ample room to pull over onto the shoulder just across the street.Re: st joseph pennisula and st george island state parks gapeachy wrote: So is oct a good time also... i usually love the burning hot july at the beach but the bugs were unbearable, thinking of going back in oct and would love to still be able to swim and play in the bay, also what is the name of a good fish market there? October is a VERY good time to go. Temps are warm usually in the 80's (tho one year it was in the mid 90's) and the water temp is still very warm from the summer months. Surf fishing is usually good unless the 'ladyfish' are about and then not so much. They are fun to catch but not good to eat. Kids are back in school so its primarily an older crowd. Sunsets are amazing in October and the monarch butterflys are everywhere...they are migrating to South America and St Joe is directly in their path. Fish mongers...closest and best is St Joe Shrimp Co. on 30A. I always pull over with TT in tow on the way in and pick up something for the grill. Otherwise 13 Mile Seafood Market in Apalachicola is also good. I'm sure there are other good markets in the area as well. For dining with a true rustic experience check out Indian Pass Raw Bar. Its not too far from the campground, otherwise Apalachicola has some excellent restaurants. Here is a link to my Picasa St Joe:Re: st joseph pennisula and st george island state parks craigt wrote: We go to St. Joe most every Thanksgiving. It doesn't generally fill up until the Friday after, with most folks staying at home for Turkey Day. Weather is generally quite pleasant unless there is a storm in the area, then it can get cool. Water temperature is still warm enough for the Yankees to swim in, but us Southerners usually watch them from the sunny beach. Fishing doesn't seem to be very active at Thanksgiving, but people still try. Thanks for the info. We are looking forward to making it there for Thanksgiving week. I am a surf fisher so that part sounds a bit disappointing but, there are always the fish markets Heh, heh... Storms are no bother here, we've weathered some bad ones but of course would prefer nice fall weather!
