THAT is the place for raspberry shakes. They are wondefull. BUT, after you enjoy yours, you'll be thirsty so get a fresh Lime for the road. Little slice of heaven there. 89 is a fine road - little twisty and narrow in places so you won't be full speed ahead the whole way. I've always felt Jackson Hole was a Tourist Trap... but we have fun there anyway! Enjoy your trip... LeBeau's in Logan has closed. :-( I agree that the drive to Bear Lake is worth it just for the rasberry shake. We will try Merlin's this year for a shake and a pastrami burger.Re: North bound through San Francisco Litch wrote: The route described using 280 and 19th Ave is a piece of cake. Just stay in the middle lane on 19th Ave and be prepared for some traffic with stoplights. To the O.P.: does KCFD stand for Kansas City Fire Dept.? This may look like a mess on a paper map but it really easy if you follow the lane advise on 19th Ave. Enjoy California Capt.Re: Northern Utah to Jackson, Wy rv2go wrote: I driven this route. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem. A practical man! Thanks for injecting a little humor into this discussion.Re: What do you use to lube your stabilizer jacks?WD 40 is good for removing bird "droppings" from the hood-roof of your autos, picnic tables, camping chairs, etc.Re: Jayco fith wheels AZ T&T wrote: firedguy wrote: Our experience with our 36REQS is that the fit and finish of the "Amish"built cabinetry could be much better for a unit with a msrp of $72k. We live in the desert and had wood splitting issues on the dining table, entertainment unit and an overhead light support. Jayco warranty fixed the big issues but the fit and finish remains as we received it. On a scale of 1-10 I rate The 2011 Pinnacle a 7. No excuse for the fit and finish. You probably already know this, but in case you don't : living in the Phoenix area it's helpfull to keep a open water container inside the rig while it's being stored. We have 2 buckets, 1 in the kitchen sink and 1 in the shower, that we keep full of water. This really helps with things drying out, including anything glued like walll paper and cabinets. Great reminder. We leave buckets in the house all summer while we are gone. Humidity is 5% today.Re: Washer/Dryer Need recommendationsWe purchased a Splendide 2100cx vented combo from CW when it was on sale and CW installed during their $29 install anything sale. It adds 140 lbs to the weight of the trailer but is worth every lb. The trade off is the closet space we lost for the convenience of our own machine. No more digging for quarters in the furniture.Re: Jayco fith wheelsOur experience with our 36REQS is that the fit and finish of the "Amish"built cabinetry could be much better for a unit with a msrp of $72k.
