I have had them recommended to me by two people that have had them on their trailer for five years with no problems. I have looked at their tires after being on their trailers for this time and see no cracking or splitting. Have you heard of them and what have you heard. They are not manufactured off shore. (Canadian made)Re: Carlisle TiresWe have been bashing ST tires of all makes and models for years on this forum. A group of RV friends (mostly fifth wheel) in our Good Sam camping group have over the last five years switched to running load range E light truck tires. We have felt that the trailers were over all more stable on the road. But the main thing is that after five years the tires are not suffering tread splitting or checking on the sidewalks. ST tires for the most part are not a dependable quality tire, such as possibly Maxxis. Peoples opinions on the use of light truck tires are varied. Has anybody else had success with these?Re: Carlisle TiresCalling out to Canadians. I need new tires. Would love to purchase Maxxis, but can't find a Canadian Supplier. If you know of one I would like to know. I am in New Brunswick. I am also considering going with a load range E light truck tire. I need all the help and guidance I can get.Re: Driving in CanadaI just called my brother in reference to your inquiry. He is a highway enforcement officer (DOT IN THE US) Your licence is fine in every province and territory. He did say that he thinks that everybody with air brakes on their RV should be required to have an air brake endorcment, but none is required. Welcome to our country. Don't miss the east coast.(New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia) The land of friendly people, fantastic beer, and the best lobster - fresh off the boats.Re: Tear in new floor ?I hated the flooring that came in the trailer. They generally put in the cheapest they can purchase. Although it was not damaged, I had a professional flooring installer replace it with a better quality sheet vinyl flooring. The upgrade looks great. The reason I had it installed by a professional flooring installer is that I just did not trust the abilities of the techs at the RV dealership. They are often good at what they do, but with all the difficult angles and cut in's this was a job for the pro's. I did not remove the cabinets to do the install. You would be very impressed by the install. You would think it was original, except the quality of the vinyl is definitely superior. Perhaps the dealer would offer a credit and you can get the replacement done yourself.Re: RV Christmas Wish ListI want new trailer tires, but can't find one tire other than Maxxis that anybody will endorse. We can not get Maxxis in our area. There has got to be one brand that is not junk. Please Santa, help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Re: Maritimers driving to FloridaIn Lewiston, Maine, just off the highway, there is a Ramada hotel. They have about 20 30 amp park sites in the back of the hotel for 10.00 per night. As well they give you a two for one buffet breakfast voucher. It's a great spot and at least you have power for heat.Re: Anti-Freeze in or outWhy take a chance? The antifreeze is cheap insurance. I like to sanitize my whole system in the spring. After flushing with water and bleach my water is great. I don't half do anything on the RV. The repair costs are right off the Ricter Scale.Re: Trailer Length definitionI have always wondered about the codes attributed to trailers. Our trailer is a 26RLSS. I think it means 26' rear living room - super slide. But I maybe wrong.Hughes AutoformerCan anybody tell me where I can source a Hughes Autoformer in Canada?
