I found it on a garage sale for $10. It was perfect! Small space, had a hose, and was pretty powerful compared to others I'd used. Hope this helps! My renewal has come up and my rate has increased by $100.00. I've made no claims and my vehicles have all depreciated for the 6 months so why has my rate gone up? I called and I was informed that the rate in TX have gone up do to amount of claims. I asked, if I had a claim my rate would have gone up and was told yes.So my rate went up not because I'm a careful driver but because other people made claims and I get to help pay for theirs even though my vehicles have depreciated for 6 months and the Insurance Co. exposure is less. All this tells me that when you buy Ins. expect a low rate to get you in and then start jacking up the rate each renewal date. Dave Get used to it they ALL do the same thing. Ones no better than the other. Their all in the same bed and you can take that to the bank !!Re: House BatteriesWe have a 96 Damon Intruder that we never take the batteries out of because in the winter we fire it up and take it to Walmart to shop. Its a good idea to start it up and run it around a little bit. Keeps the oil and grease mixed good on the metal parts and gives the motor and transmission seals some lube. Remember " Beware of old rv's with low mileage."Motors and transmission were made to work and not lay idle.Re: Running 2 a/c's Chris Bryant wrote: If it is stalling and not throwing a breaker, the genset needs help- a tuneup, carb cleaning, new fuel filter, decarboning, clean the spark arrestor, etc. It should be able to keep running to supply enough current to trip the output breakers. Sounds good thanks ChrisRe: Running 2 a/c's noplace2 wrote: Unpopular comment coming: Presumably you're boondocking and want to run 2 AC's? Perhaps you need to seek an alternate hobby/lifestyle. The owners manual says it can be done on genny only. Why would it say that when presumably it can be done.. Think I'll take it in for a tune up. That probably won't work either. No big deal since we seldom use it. Just was wondering why it won't do what its supposed to do..Thanks for tryingRe: fleetwood, Bounder, 1996...wtag wh..,14,000 milesCant beat a Smart Car for towing 1800 lbs you'll never know its back there !!Running 2 a/c'sI have a 5000 watt Koehler gen. that is supposed to be able to run 2 (13000 btu a/c's at the same time. But when I try it drags the genny down all the way and it stalls. I have tried turning on one at a time but no luck. Other than that the gen. works just fine.. Any ideas ?Re: Tire Recommendation WyoTraveler wrote: I like Hankook. I have about 12,000 on mine and like them. Will know more after winter and see how they do on snow. Very aggressiive tread. I have a 2008 F250. I changed my tires out at 50,000 miles. My PU came with Goodyear. X-2 on HankooksRe: Refilling propane tanksNever heard of such a thing..I've been Rv'ing for over 25 years and never had a problem like this.Re: Generator won't stay running. Also most generators hate old stale gas. Had the same problem one time going through Vegas in the summer (104 deg) couldn't get the gen. to run after about 3 tanks of fresh fuel it ran like a new one. And yes I had an additive in it but the gas was still a year old.Sometimes fresh gas will fix them right up. So if your having trouble with your genny try it, it may just fix the running problem....Stabil works for about 6 months after that your just running on luck...
