We have a 96 Damon Intruder that we never take the batteries out of because in the winter we fire it up and take it to Walmart to shop.Its a good idea to start it up and run it around a little bit. Keeps the oil and grease mixed good on the metal parts and gives the motor and transmission seals some lube. I have a 5000 watt Koehler gen. that is supposed to be able to run 2 (13000 btu a/c's at the same time. But when I try it drags the genny down all the way and it stalls. Also most generators hate old stale gas. Had the same problem one time going through Vegas in the summer (104 deg) couldn't get the gen. to run after about 3 tanks of fresh fuel it ran like a new one. And yes I had an additive in it but the gas was still a year old.Sometimes fresh gas will fix them right up. So if your having trouble with your genny try it, it may just fix the running problem....Stabil works for about 6 months after that your just running on luck...859Views0likes0Comments
