Well, maybe a pack of 8 batteries going on 630 watt solar panels with the ac used only part time sounds doable then.

I guess it depends on the weather and where i am. But do you know how many hours a 550 watt ac will run off of 250 amp hours?

Ok so using multi 12v batteries will give more amp hours than the same amount of 6v batteries right?

Why only 5 hours? How many amp hours would 630 watt solar panels make in a 8-10 hour day of sunlight? Prob like 500? So a 550 watt ac could run about how long? I dont know

And 630 watt solar panels. Question about the solar panels. It produces 630 watts per hour or... I mean your 256 watt solar panels do 256 watt per hour?

So you are using basically 4 6v batteries and your 1200watt ac will run 2 hours off that? How about 6 batteries and a 600watt ac? Hmm
