The Journey has furnaces and water heater. The Tour has Aquahot. If you fulltime in the colder climates. There is nothing better than Aquahot for floor and water heat. The Tour also may have a dishwasher. Journey might also, but probably not. The interior trims are different. Basically they are very close in every aspectRe: No Electrical Outlet In SlideoutYou positive there are no outlets? look in front by the wall on each dinette booth. Does your have a couch (sofa) in the slide? If so check the wall behind thatRe: What is a good toy hauler for full timersin that price range. It might be hard to find a TH. Maybe a small TT with a TH garage. It would likely be small for full timing though. If you could add $50k to that. You would be in Cyclone range.Re: Motorhome/Toad vs Truck-Trailer/Chase Carthis is a typical conversation. It will always boil down to personal preference. The MH is always a bit more convienent. easier to drive in more harsh weather (note there is NO type of RV configuration that will be a real nice drive in snow, ice, or high winds). If you are going to be set up for long periods of time, the only "sensible" choice is a trailer. It is not good on any drivetrain to sit still for extended periods. However, if you drive all the time, you will be "wearing out" the MH drivetrain. Meaning it may be more expensive repairing/replacing certain mechanical parts on the MH, than it would be on a truck. It is certainly more costly to replace a MH than it would be to replace A truck, or A trailer. (Replacing truck and trailer at once might be about the same as replacing a MH though). -----My only reasonable thought is this. Insurance. Yes. Insurance for truck and trailer is generally less than insurance for the MH alone. Not to mention insurance for the toad. OH yeah. Fuel mileage. Well that is about the same either way.Re: Ultra light TT brandsCamplites are nice. You could look into a hybrid also. Starcraft makes an "AR-ONE" series, that are 15' 17' & 19' any of them could be pulled by your RAV4. I sell loads of them to Jeep Wrangler V6 owners.Re: Sprinter Class C questionsWell the super C is a fairly large size vehicle. They all have similar build quality. The Sprinters are small, but do get decent fuel mileage and ride good. The Winnebago View is a very good product. It is a house built by Winnebago resting on a Mercedes Sprinter Chassis. Get the bigger V6 engine. They are awesome for 2 people. Should tow your utility trailer fine. They tow our lot vehicles just fine.Re: Slide underside wear with schwintek systemthose plates help a lot, we put lots of them on. However, (most of the time). the problem is not dirt or even wear. The problem is a water leak somewhere, and the bottom of the slide is rotting out. Be sure to check all seals. Roof and Slide. I bet water is coming in somewhereRe: Window Shade Problemyes I despise those shades. We re-string them everyday. Keep in mind that not every one can be re strung. Most can, but sometimes we run in to one that fits too tight. In that case, a new day/night shade must be orderedRe: Two bathroomsyes two bathrooms are very common these days. We sell many of them. As far as the class C pulling that TT. It was likely a dealer either taking units to an auction, or taking units to the dealer from the auctionRe: Leaking WindowWhy not go to the website http://www.kinro.com/ Go to RV windows in the support tab. If this is window with a frame. Just unscrew all the screws inside. Pull the window out. Scrape all the old butyl tape off. Clean good with a quality adhesive cleaner. Reapply butyl tape. Reinstall window. Apply thin bead of silicone caulk around top and sides. Im not real familiar with the frameless windows. Other than we get lots of complaints about them leaking, rattling, opening while driving
