Here are the truck specs. Same front end as the rest of the hd's 4500lb. 6000lb rated semi floater rear gm has used for ever in there 2500 series trucks. www.thecarconnection.com/specifications/chevrolet_silverado-1500hd_2002_crew-cab-156-0-wb-4 I have the super hitch, super truss setup. Torklift tie downs. And airbags. Hauled from washington to denver last summer and went over vail to moab on the way back. Was looking for real world weights of enclosed trailers. Looking online and from previous experiance. They say empty the have 300lb tongue weight. So probly 500lbs with the wheelers? So ive been using a small flatbed to carry 3 atvs. Im thinking about upgrading to a 20 foot enclosed trailer. Wondering what the expexted tingue weight is on these. thanx for the advice guys. the DW has a grandmother in hospice care down there. we may have to go down. we have places to stay down there on family land. havent taken the truck and camper but a couple of hours away before. way too much beautiful country here to play in to spend all the time driving.339Views0likes0Comments
