You can find those half inch pipe thread shutoffs just about everywhere. Especially at home centers and hardware stores. 

My wife and I tried the Oxygenics and bought one for my mother after she said she might steal ours.

I noticed a problem with the Oxygenics hose being too stiff for my liking. But after a couple of weeks, it softened with hot water passing through it.
