A truck did that to me once in a heavy rain storm... my 1986 Toyota 4WD Pick Up Truck was totaled that night. I walked away without a scratch. Five cars were damaged that night, the driver stopped, saw what happened, and drove away. No one got his license number. Glad nobody was hurt.485Views0likes0CommentsRe: Mayberry Campground
We stayed at Mayberry Campground last fall, on the way back from Disney World. It was a very nice place. All the power, water, and sewer hookups were new. It seems like the owners have been putting some money into the place. The terrain is hilly, but the sights were level. Lots of pull throughs were available. If you get a chance, go to the Andy Griffith museum in Mt. Airy's Historic District. If you are there before 2pm, Definitely go to "Snappy Lunch" and try their Famous Pork Chop Sandwich (for $4.05!). Four Mile Creek State Park is excellent. Inexpensive and right on Lake Ontario. The Branches of Niagara on Grand Island is also nice. It is a private campground, relative new and well maintained.
