If the refrigerator is good and dry, closing the door while in storage won’t hurt it. We stored ours in a hot field in Florida every summer and after a thorough cleaning and drying for 24 hours I closed the door and never had any issues. It’s been several years, but we found a company that made custom size mattresses of foam. We removed our queen bed and modified the bed platform to a king. We needed a split mattress. We got two foam mattresses that fit perfectly on the platform we built. It was not too expensive to purchase. The trouble with masks is they don’t work very well. They keep,out dust and many allergens, but virus bugs are small enough to go right through. Rather a sensationalist post. We winter in central Florida every year and are surrounded by lakes. Common sense will keep you safe. Anyone that walks their dog near water has none.
