He said to roll a piece of paper about the size of a pencil and put it between the folds of the gasket where it might be leaking. Then heat the area with a hair dryer. Make sure the door stays closed for about 4-5 hours and the gasket should reform itself and make a good seal. Worth a try.Re: Finally saw the Winnebago TravatoSue, Hope you really enjoy your new Travato! We looked at one last Friday and for three hours afterwards we were seriously thinking about trading in our Pleasureway. The wife liked the layout, bigger shower and fold up bed, giving more storage for larger items. We could live with the electric water heater, although not my first choice. I have to say I had never seen an RV with a battery exposed under the chassis. The dealer said it was not uncommon, just seems to me it would catch a lot of road grime. I'm also curious if you find any information about the awning, if it can be closed manually. Again, enjoy, and your comments on the Travato are appreciated. Bruce&Sue 2007 Pleasureway Excel-TSRe: Pet Food RecallLatest recall from smartpak. May 4th, 2007 On May 2, SmartPak recalled all orders of LiveSmart Adult Lamb and Brown Rice. This product tested positive for presence of melamine in a test received on May 2. After their first recall of LiveSmart Weight Management Chicken and Brown Rice, SmartPak sent all of their other dog food for testing, and Adult Lamb and Brown Rice came back with positive results. SmartPak is dry food and is made by Chenango Valley. SmartPak is saying that this is odd because this particular dog food doesn’t contain any rice protein concentrate, wheat gluten or any of the other ingredients that are on FDA’s import watch list. They are saying it may be cross-contamination. (Oh by the way, it took 48 hours for the FDA to put up the press release).Re: Pet Food RecallNow there might be possible cross-contamination. What a mess. menu foods recalls moreRe: Pet Food RecallThanks to Senator Durbin. new regulationsRe: Pet Food RecallFinally, but a little too late for owners of ill or lost pets. fda alertRe: Pet Food RecallSorry, bad link.Re: Pet Food RecallIt just gets better every day!! April 28th, 2007 The Chicago Tribune has detailed information (reg. req.) on how a pet food recall has brought a federal agency to its knees. The agency admits being behind the curve, while the bulk of the investigation has yet to begin. Also, FDA is investigating an Illinois shipment of rice protein used in human food. Here are the highlights: The end of this pet food crisis appears more elusive than ever… About 45 [California] state residents ate pork from hogs that consumed animal feed laced with melamine from China. What last month was a limited recall of canned pet food is on the verge of becoming a full-fledged public health scare. The FDA’s real detective work may be just beginning. Having found many sources of contamination, investigators must now determine exactly how widespread the problem is and how it began.Re: Pet Food RecallI checked the natural balance website again since our dog was on the canned for a week. They say the rice protein was put in without their knowledge or consent. Now why would the manufacturer take it upon themselves to add ingredients not called for! How would they benefit from this. I guess it does all come down to profit.Re: Pet Food RecallBreaking news, 3 recalls! Seems to be getting worse every day. itchmo
