And Here it is I am impressed that you have a gravity fill tank. Is there any reason these nifty connectors wouldn't work on a pressure fill?Re: Zion in winter, the good, the bad and the ugly! dedmiston wrote: Your "ugly" wife is a very pretty woman. I hope she's doing better. I'm glad she got good care, and your coach sounds a lot more comfortable than an ambulance. I'm glad they sent you to St. George and not to Kanab where their surgical skills aren't as good. My wife rolled a quad about 15 years ago and the pressure opened up a big gash in her leg (you could actually see her femur in there). It happened on a Sunday and "the doctor on call" (yes, singular doctor in that town) declined to come out of temple because the patient was female (I actually heard this over their radio). So they assigned it to the nurse practitioner intern to close up the wound. I don't blame the kid; he did the best he could. But my wife has a huge scar that looks like a shark bite with horrible bright spots from the sloppy sutures. Note to women: Don't do anything risky in those parts on the Sabbath, because you might not get emergency care if something goes wrong. Thanks for the heads up. That's horrifying and infuriating.Re: Zion in winter, the good, the bad and the ugly!Wow... what a nasty fall. I'm glad it wasn't any worse! From the looks of things she will heal up fine. Kudos to the ranger and the ER doc.Re: RVing in 2022 ktmrfs wrote: maybe the bright side of high gas prices is that it will be easier to get a camping spot!!!! My philosophy, which has worked well is "never start a hobby you can't afford in the long term". This, exactly. I'm hoping for more spots available.Re: bathroom cabinet replacement Cummins12V98 wrote: 35 years Commercial Construction that’s the best Construction adhesive I have ever used. The holding power is insane. Sounds like a good way to put a cabinet on a wall. Might use some short screws to kind of clamp it in place.Re: Tucson AZ area recommendations? We spent 4 weeks at Cactus Country park 3 years ago. It's pretty nice if you can get one of the larger sites. Call soon.Re: bathroom cabinet replacement Cummins12V98 wrote: Wall stud would be preferred. If not a few dabs of LocTite PL3 on the back and #12 Phillips head sheet metal screws. Hold the cabinet in place, have someone place tape on the wall at one edge and bottom and drill two holes top and bottom thru cabinet and the 1/8” thick wall panel that are the diameter of the solid portion of the screw. Now drill the same holes in the cabinet to just larger than the screws. Dab a few balls of the adhesive on the back a few inches in from the cabinet edges so adhesive does not squirt out past the edges. Place the cabinet to wall aligning side and bottom to tape so holes align. Now gently screw the fasteners just so they snug the cabinet to the wall. With that adhesive it will never fall off the wall. This makes a lot of sense. Your comment about the adhesive led me to do a little googling about construction adhesives. I foundthis article comparing holding power of various adhesives. The weight amounts are pretty impressive. I realize these are static loads, but still they are far in excess of what the small cabinets would weigh. I think you are right, some short screws combined with adhesive would be a very strong combination.bathroom cabinet replacementMy Class C has a basically useless tiny corner wall cabinet over the toilet. I'm considering replacing it with at least one shallow, tall & narrow wall cabinets similar to these IKEA cabinets. These cabinets are 5.5" deep, 16" wide, and 38" tall. Even one of them would provide more storage than the tiny corner cabinet. Shipping weight on this specific cabinet is 26 pounds. So the whole thing would weigh maybe 30 pounds, including contents of toiletries and/or towels, etc. Almost anywhere I put them would be an outside wall of the RV. I'm not opposed to making holes, etc. Just need to get adequate support without poking all the way through the wall! How is the best way to mount a cabinet like this on the wall?Re: 2019 Ford F-250 headlights Taxman2436 wrote: Loved the headlights on my Tacoma, but bigger trailer needs a bigger truck. Have any of you changed your headlights? They just don’t illuminate enough for me, but not looking to blind everyone coming toward me. -Lenny Is the truck level when the trailer is hooked up, and the headlights aimed correctly? First things to check. If you do replace them, do some reading on Tacoma forums. There are a few, and many very knowledgeable people on them.Re: Nice Story about class C useGreat use and lots of fun!
