He said that it was "greased" 2,000 miles ago. If that included a complete cleaning and inspection of the bearings and then a repack with the proper grease followed by the correct bearing and brake adjustment, then he is good to go for thousands of miles. Perhaps Canada could take the bulk of those folks traveling north so that the pressure on the US electrical grid is reduced. That would be better for the environment because of the clean energy in Canada, and it would reduce the US national debt. Some RV floors have a sandwich type of construction where foam is in the center. That type can weaken with use till there is a total failure. Others use a plywood or OSB material that will fail if it gets wet. The repair for each type is complete replacement of the affected area.
