Jerk's question, "Are you the guy in the little trailer next door?" is why I came to that conclusion. People love to label people by their possessions. "Entry level" is a code for cheap or "Not as good as mine". X2. If I wanted a MH I would have bought one. This is my 3rd RV, and I'm not new at this by any means, and my TT is not entry level because I say so!Re: More new alum skinned campers than fiberglassSticks and tin for me. I've had both. Its what I want. It's not the weight or the price or the looks, It's what I want. Easier to repair in case of damage is one reason. Another is sticks and tin won't delaminate. There are other reasons too. Its what I want.Re: Coachman 29SEI'm on my second Coachmen. My Catalina is a year old, and I've had no problems at all. Never had any with my 04 Captiva either.Re: Old A/C shakingI had one that had a Muddobbers nest built on one of the fan blades.Re: Doing the final things before hitting the Road SouthI'm in the same situation. Leaving the 27th for Zephyrhills, Fl. I'm leaving earlier next yr. It's supposed to be cold enough that I'm a little afraid to put fresh water in the TT. I suppose I could find some when I get to Tenn.Re: Is my new cover going to fit?Have you put the cover on yet, and how does it fit?Re: Plumbing connections for water. There are Pex fittings that don't need any special crimping tools. That is what I use and they are easy to use. Menards has them.Re: Travel Trailer ground clearanceWhen I traded last winter, having 2 steps was one of the things I looked for. I'm going to be in and out of this thousands of times, and I'm not getting any younger!Re: Replacement Trailer KeysI had a spare made at a flea market in Florida.Re: Couch replacementThe OP said that the couch is the slide, and it sits on a "shelf". The motor, etc. for the slide is under the couch. If the "shelf" is removed, all of the slide mechanism will be exposed.
