So I am finally getting around to replacing the escape hatch. I have removed the old frame and cleaned old caulk off the top. I plan to use butyl tape on the underside of the frame and eternabond or dicor lap seal for the outside. Any thoughts?
I took the door window out to reseal it as it had slipped down an inch or so. I found a broken tab at the bottom of the outer frame that holds window in. I think I can reseal and flip frame upside down to hold glass. My question is is the rough side ...
Have any of you replaced your escape hatch. I bought a new dome but can't get the old one off the track. It looks like it should just slide off. Any hidden screws? Any suggestions? This is on a 2001 Lance 815
I scored a set of never used Atwood swing out brackets but with no instructions. If any of you have these on your camper a couple of photos would be appreciated. I found the instructions online but as they say " a picture is worth a thousand words"
