Each fall, when winterizing, I have to turn one from open to closed, and the other from closed to open. In the spring I have to reverse. I now have two problems. Problem 1 - The "handle" on one of the valves broke. See photo below. How do you replace this valve?? It looks like it should be simple, but I am not sure how those black bands on each side of the valve work. Problem 2 - In all the tinkering with these valves I am no longer 100% sure anymore which one is open when the water heater is functioning (summertime) and which one is open when winterized. If someone has an easy explanation for that it would be great. Thanks. Re: Fresh Water Tank ReplacementThank you #1nobby, I was trying to figure that out. Here are two pictures of the tank I have to replace. It is about 5-inches or so deep, and about 5-feet and 3-feet in the other dimensions, and held up by angle iron around the edges, which means that the plastic tank has edges that stick out to rest on the angle iron. I would gladly attach pictures, but have not figured that out yet. Thanks.Re: Fresh Water Tank Replacement Boon Docker wrote: Here you go, take your pick. I have seen that web site before, but they are all a standard box shape. I need one the same shape as the one currently mounted underneath my TT by the manufacturer in order for it to fit in the place reserved for it.Fresh Water Tank ReplacementI own a Terry Travel Trailer from Fleetwood RV manufactured in March 2004, Model 260 BHS. I need to replace the fresh water tank. Do you have any thoughts on where I can purchase such a tank that will be the right size and shape? We are in western Montana if that makes any difference, though I assume this will be in internet purchase, not a store purchase. Thank you very much.Thetford Fresh Water Tank SanitizerNeed to kill some stinky yuck in my fresh water tank. The local RV dealership talked me into Thetford Fresh Water Tank Sanitizer. It is a two-part system. Step 1 - Cleaning by running the cleaning solution through the water lines for 60 seconds then rinsing with fresh water. Step 2 - Sanitizer - I'm not yet clear how long to keep that in the system. Has anyone used this system - did it work well for you? Thanks Proud DadFridge Not Running Off GasHi All, Have a 2005ish Terry TT with a refrigerator problem. Fridge works fine when running off of shore power, but does not run at all if switched to LP gas. My batteries are shot and need to be replaced. I mean really dead. My theory (that is to say my hope b/c it would be a simple solution) is that there needs to be good DC power in order for the refrigerator controller to work correctly even with LP gas as the energy source, and that when I replace the batteries, the fridge will work just fine. Am I just kidding myself, or is this likely to be a solution to my fridge situation?
