Price ??? but one could made a visit or call. Most likely close enough for them to install which ever way you decide to go. LEN Copy that Len, I'll head south. That's actually our old Costco. Moved up to Westminster to a short term apartment about 3 months before we bought our RV.Re: Where to buy batteries? eppersonwayne@hotmai wrote: Costco just had a sale I can't find any 6v batteries at my costco nor online? They have 12v deep cycle marine.Re: Where to buy batteries? Thanks! We're considering running the current 12v until we get to Imperial Dam in January. Maybe find a good deal at big tent?Re: Where to buy batteries?Excellent info everyone! Plenty here for me to go off of. Step one is to compare weight and take a good look at the condition of the battery box. Then I have more than enough to go off of here to make a purchase. Thanks!Re: Where to buy batteries? pianotuna wrote: Hi, Being AGM they can be installed on their sides. Several of us have been using them with good success. Thanks!! Battery box isn't tall enough though :( Copy that!! I'll take a closer look.Re: Where to buy batteries? rjxj wrote: A_K_Chesnut wrote: Can you Sam's Club folks tell me which ones you used? I don't have a Sam's membership unfortunately, but might be able to find a friend that does. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/golf-cart-batteries/3990117.cp I run four of those. If you go Trojans they do state 14.8 volt charging 4 of which? There are 8 different batteries on that page.Re: Where to buy batteries? BoondockOnly wrote: Buy the size that fits your current battery boxes. When I purchased the golf cart batteries, they only had one version on the shelf. No thinking required. Then I had to find new battery boxes because the 6 volt batteries are tall. Also really heavy compared to the 12 volt deep cycle batteries I've used. I measured the battery box and it'll fit two 6 volts. Good point on the weight though, I should be concerned about the 1993 welds holding! I'll do some research on the best 12v we can use. We will be doing a lot of dry camping, which is why I wanted to go with two 6 volts.Re: Where to buy batteries? darsben1 wrote: Are you sure you want Trojans? Yes they are good/great but lots of people swear by the Costco equivalent I hear you! But the two Costco's closest to me only carry 12v deep cycle marine. Do you have a part number or link to their 6v?Re: Where to buy batteries? Can you Sam's Club folks tell me which ones you used?
