Loading 4 wheelrs on bed of pick up
Trying to solve the age old problem of the perfect travel trailer. Have been looking at 5th wheels, bumper pull etc. For what we want to do it seems like a pumper pull with some sort of loading platform on our truck would give us the most flexibility. Not in love with driving up a steep narrow ramp to load 4 wheelers on a platform on the bed of our truck. Are there any loading system that are easier, safer to use? We are thinking of buying a travel trailer in the 30 foot range. Does it make sense to buy one 1 or 2 years old and let someone else take the initial loss? Looking for the best place in Idaho Montana or Utah to buy one. Any suggestions? Not all salesmen are create equal? Prefer straight shooter. I have purchased 1 brand new Honda Generator and am thinking about buying another one to hook in tandem for my bumper pull to generate enough power to run air conditioning when camping off the grid. I am wondering if there are good solar panel generators that can do the same thing thus avoiding the need to haul extra gasoline. I have a 30 foot Kit Companion bumper pull trailer we just bought. I want to buy a Honda Generator to run air conditioner. I think it is 13,500 BTUs. Wondering if the smaller Honda 2,000 will handle the air conditioner? Any thoughts? Suggestions?11KViews0likes56Comments
