Second night stop the bathroom pocket door cam of the track and was back in the wall. A rv tech was able to get it out and swap the roller around as one of the rollers had a wheel off. Drive the next day and next stop same thing, off the track and really stuck in wall. We believe the door is bowed/wrapped and that is why its hard to get out of wall, as well as tilted down at the end of the track but one roller handing on so bottom of door is tiled up off the floor. I send my vin number etc all to another rv tech guy to order roller and meet him in two weeks at the next stop. Found out today he cannot get the order in time. So I need some options. These are a few I'm thinking The door itself is a $155.00 item and roller are like 5.99 each. The opening of the door way is 27". I am told the pocket door is 30" wide. The frid door is stick out 2 1/2" cutting the opening to around 25 1/2" . not enough room to tile door out away from bathroom without removing the fright. I can take off the bracket on the top of the frig and remove the top door and remove the bottom door, but the bottom bracket is attached underneath the fride and not on the front like the top door. So frid would have to come out enough to remove that door support. Do not want to remove my 12 volt fridg. the rv tech upfront is $80.00 service call and $120 per hour. I'm thing if I can get a steel rod with a 90 degree bend I might be able to tilt the door at the back and get it out of the wall enough to just cut 6" off the door. if door is bad, which I think it is, then doing this I save $200.00. Then I would just worry about it when we get back home. I just feel the door need to be out while traveling as it is up against our shower drain pipe coming through the wall. We have a shower leak ever once in a while and the water appears right at the pocket door. Might be able to find the leak if the door is out of the wall. Sorry for so long. Thank you to anyone who will respond.Slide out blows fuse coming inI have a 2022 Forest River Surveyor Legend 252 RBLE. Only one slide on this unit and its the dinette. I believe it is the rack and pinion style slide out. No rails on either side of slide visible. It works fine when extending and shutting off like it should after the sound, we all wait for. The problem comes when I bring the slide in. It appears to come all the way in but the sound you expect at the closing does not happen. The slide appears to be all the way in and looks so when I go outside and check. The issue is after the slide stops coming in you can hear the fuse pop/blow. I am not to familiar with trouble shooting electrical issues. I assume I need to get to the motor etc. for the slide. Which I'm afraid is in the underbelly. So any idea on how to trouble shoot without dropping the underbellyWinnebago model 2201 dsok, i just sold my Forest River 31ft trailer. want something a little smaller. I have found a Winnebago 2201 DS. Look like in good shape but its 250 mile away. I still may go look, but wondering if anyone out there has this model and can fill me in. it as 2017 year. I think I have seem some you tube videos on the model and it showed different floor plan. The one i am looking at has a tv that rotate around to the bed. the video had tv on a wall just past dinning table. i want to remove the dinning table and put in theater seating or something I can add a table if wanted. it seems to have plenty clothing storage and that is way it a plus. Any comments will be appreciated. Thank you.1994 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 30CBanyone have any thought on older Class A. I just sold my travel trailer and would like a Class A or Class c. Just not sure about the expenses of one over the other etc. Gas mileage etc. This would be first time motorhome or should I stick with trailer. Just want to be able to pull in like Walmart, Sams Club etc and spend the night.Re: Thetford Smart tote or portable tank for Black and Grey TankThank everyone for quick replies. I am about 150 ft from my clean out on the house. One 1 acre of property and rv pad at very back of property. bad timing as we just bought the Rv and selling the house and all the rv parks in the area are full. In the DFW area and the hail storm doesn't help with all the claims adjusters coming in. I have one spot we like i can use, but no wifi is available and it's parking is built into a hill with railroad retaining wall on three side. Its only 15 wide and my trailer is 8 but with 2 sildes i thin it goes out 5 so 13 wide. not much clearence as the walls are at least 36 to 42 inchs tall. travel trailer lower to ground so I'm afraid the slide only have a foot clearnce.Thetford Smart tote or portable tank for Black and Grey TankOk, subject no one wants to talk about. I am new and need to live in my new RV trailer for 4 or 5 months while in-law suite is being built on my current house. Selling to son so I have to move out and live in the trailer. I can run a water hose/water line from an outside faucet to the trailer some 120 ft away. We are on a septic so I have access to the clean out/a place to dump using a portable tote. The question is with hooking the hoses up as they show in all the videos and cleaning out the tote is the odor bad. I am going to be parked between 40 and 60 feet from neighbors driveway. I do not want to create issue with an odor. My blank tank holds 30 gallons and gray is 40 gallons. Only two in the the trailer. So I assume I would be dumping both tanks a couple of time a week. Anyone doing this and is there an odor the neighbors would notice. Thank you.Re: Dish Sat dishThank you all for the responses. I feel much better now about making a decision.Dish Sat dishOk i read all about the tailgater, pathway2 etc. The question is I have heard the channel changing is a delayed process. I wonder is just the dish like i have at home on a tripod is the way to go. I assume channel process would be just like at home. I have read some post other places that using the smaller portable dishes like tailgater etc the channel changing could take 20 to 30 seconds. Anyone experience that with tailgater etc. Thank you.Re: Forget riverThank you for all the comments. My wife did think about the faucet switch but did not advise me. I will check on that tomorrow.Forget riverLooking at forest river surveyor 266RLDS. Notice the island faucet is blocking view of TV. Any one else have this issue or does the Tv mount move out and over. Salesman says need new mount. Can't believe this would be the case.. Thank you for ny no ll comments
