Pretty much the same as it has been for years. The exceptions are more fuel stops available & Sonoran state tolls mostly closed. 15D is in pretty good shape Heading back to our place on Isla de la Piedra in OctoberRe: Ixtapa Trailer ParkTres Amigos parks on Isla de la Piedra outside of Mazatlan were booked full for the season. Of course Canadians couldn't get here (with a couple of exceptions). Many Americans also chose not to come. Parks ended up with maybe 20% capacity in both parks. Upside is all that wanted had beachfront sites. Island life was pretty quiet until Semana Santa. Warmer weather is bringing out many more nationals on the weekends tent camping the beach. The parks have survived & hope for next fall is high. Life is good here on the PlayaRe: Bees with an attitudeNow we start contending with Asia Hornet, north west Washington have found 5 nests of them. Actually 1 nest with 500 occupantsNogales Mariposa crossingThree RVs crossed Sunday on our way to Isla de la Piedra. Was as simple and straight forward as years past. Did our paperwork thing at Km21 with no wait. Spent a night in San Carlos, a night in Los Mochis truck stop, on in to the Isla Tuesday. Life is goodRocky PointAnybody spend Labor Day weekend at Rocky Point from NOB?Re: No CoronaI have a 6 pack in the fridge for friends to drink. Been there since November and yes I do have friends ;-) just not Corona drinking friends I guessRe: cerr?itos fireFrom a RV tech that was there during the fire and then repaired rigs pulled out without disconnecting utilities, the cause was an unattended BBQ that overheated. I believe (suprize!) alcohol was involved. Many more than 3-4 rigs were damaged or destroyed. Makes me look at my palapa beside my rig on the Isla a little differentlyRe: New Concha virusCorona!? Negro Modelo or a Pacifico si, Corona nadaTurning in my TIP lateOther than losing my "deposit" any issues that I should be aware of when returning my TIP after 180 days? On edit - FMM is not a problem. Will cross at Nogales so KM-21 will be where the TIP gets returned. Don't know how late at this time. I'm good until mid-may, so maybe June or ???who knows
