I haven't taken it out yet, but I'm sure it's good to go. Here is the blog post I did. http://blog.thevap.com/?p=2070Re: tire brand choiceAfter a big 24 hour research push ;), I decided on Michelin's for my trailer. I had some Beijing tires before, but after my research I decided on the Michelin's for the new ones. I posted about it on my Blog Post.Re: First trip..... Success !!Congrats for a successful trip. Wish you many more. I remember our first trip over 10 years ago. Our water heater went out and we had to microwave bath water for our five month old! I suggest keeping a camping journal of your trips. Maybe get the kids their own. You just write where you went, how many miles your drove, how old the kids were and some of the things you did. It's fun to read it years later and reminisce of times gone by.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 uscgcolletti wrote: My guess it was premade water lines that had factory fitting. That's right. It's part of the water pump noise supresssion kit.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Here are a couple of mods. The first one is real simple. The doors on the atwood water heaters are held on with a small rivet and a bent metal loop. I decided to add a screw to make it a little more difficult to fly off down the road. When I had my fresh water tank built I added a second inlet so I could fill the tank from a valve inside the trailer when connected to the city water connection. Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here is our 1960 Airstream that I restored five years ago. We just got back from a 7200 mile cross country trip. Some inside shots I took with a fisheye. Moderator edit to re-size pictures to forum limit of 640px maximum width.
