Congrats for a successful trip. Wish you many more. I remember our first trip over 10 years ago. Our water heater went out and we had to microwave bath water for our five month old! I suggest keeping a camping journal of your trips. Maybe get the kids their own. You just write where you went, how many miles your drove, how old the kids were and some of the things you did. Here are a couple of mods. The first one is real simple. The doors on the atwood water heaters are held on with a small rivet and a bent metal loop. I decided to add a screw to make it a little more difficult to fly off down the road.
