All searches always show hiking which we are not really up to. We like oddity things that you really can't see everywhere and prefer to stay out of the big cities. Any ideas on sights or things to do?Re: what can I getAll the talk about safety is a known number one priority and a larger computer screen easier to glance at then adjusting your eyes to a small gps device or smart phone. But as i am driving down the road my wife reads the directions and the computer also has voice directions. We also have a gps but cannot program a route of our preference like we can on the computer nor can we find something a little further out because the gps just shows a small area. I guess if you only plan on going to what you program in if you know it and not see anything else you can just follow gps but I have had a gps give wrong directions when i am sitting there looking at my destination.what can I getI use to use Delorme hooked to a GPS but they are no more. Is there any other good comparable, and reasonable priced, off line mapping programs that can connect to a GPS like Delorme had.Re: Battery tender plus hook up questionNot sure what web page you are looking but the one I looked at just shows batteries connected positive to positive and negative to negative with the charger hooked to one of the batteries. I don't see anything that says w 1 balance wire. I have mine charging 3 batteries and have them just hooked to the battery black lead on negative and red lead on positive I also have a 12 gauge wire running up to my vehicle battery to keep it charged. it is hooked the same wayRe: How long do you stay in one place?up until this past vacation in South Dakota where we stayed 4 nights in one place because it was centered for everything we wanted to see we have stayed two nights at Graceland and only one night stands here and there everyplace else.Re: How Many RV'ers are also Nautical Buffs Too?I almost got a full certificate in the US Power Squadron but I started getting sea sick easier so I quit that and boating. That is when I bought my present RVRe: Onan no startI did find out it is a KV not the ky i stated earlier. model 2.8 KVfa26100c so I take it that it is a spec C and serial# f943187708Re: Anyone ever go to Burning Man?I was never there but if I was 30-35 years younger I would do it. Maybe if I knew about it before I may have went and met the co-founders of Google and become a partner. Oh well another billion dollars I lost out on.Onan no startI have a 1994 Onan 2.8 KW model KY. It was running great just a couple days ago but now as soon as I let go of the start switch it dies. Runs nice as long as the switch is pressed. The oil is full and recently changed with synthetic and the tank is full of gas. I get he same thing if I try the switch by the genny as when I use the remote start.Re: Summer FestivalsYou mentioned the Gilroy festival well the Hudson Valley Garlic festival in New York is pretty good but expensive. I would plan on going back but the $10 admission is too steep. I see Deadwood South Dakota has a festival with some big name 60s bands and I think it is free. We plan on going when work allows. Locally here in northern Ohio there is a Duck tape festival that is different theme but small with typical food, The North Ridgeville corn festival is small with the typical food but sometimes brings in older 60s top bands, both are free admission to everything
