Now population 500. Because it WAS the silver capital every famous architect of that era flocked to Wallace to showcase their work thus the buildings there are grand. Today it looks as if it were a Hollywood movie set deserted with the few people that live there. Get a visitors map from the museum and follow the write up of each building. And if you are hungry stop at the old saloon which is a BBQ restaurant where the applewood smoker is on the curb. One of the best and second to Daves BBQ. Each time we have RV from Canada down and across to Yellowstone or Glacier National Park we alway find it a treat to stop in Wallace. Craving the BBQ .It's sad to see people bypass the great history of this former city and it doesn't help that a highway mega overpass goes over Wallace. Enjoy !Re: Ex -rental Jayco 26.5 RLSThank You all for your expertise , wisdom and fuel for thought. We will be going to get a new one though is will be a bit of driving to the dealership in the the interior of British Columbia ( Kelowna ) as they still have one left. Given the strong US dollar it is more expensive for us. Dealers are cashing in on supply and demand... as I'm sure if they got the unit earlier at a lower price (last year) they may not pass on the savings to the buyer. Pull on..folks.Ex -rental Jayco 26.5 RLSWent and looked at a 2015 ex rental. Sales guy says that they get a few units from Jayco specifically for rental. The floor plan is the same but a few subtle things like lino step to bedroom. Anyone have a inside scoop on rental use units? Sadly dealer wants almost the same price as a new unit and there is NO Jayco warranty as it was used as a rental......Getting into 5th wheel.Plan on getting a Jayco Eagle 26.5 RLS due to limited parking space. Now looking for a hitch to put on Dodge Ram 3500. Would like to get one that gives good turning radius such a Pullrite. or go with regular hitch and change Kingpin to Reese sidewinder. What do I need?
