It never leaked but could have if it got worse. Rockwood replaced it under warranty. This is my 3rd Rockwood RV, this is the only problem I have had with any of them.Re: Nissan Pathfinder, Pathetic suspension shown againI have a 2014 Tacoma 6cy. tow package. It did the same thing. Ended up installing Firestone Riderite Air bags. Made all the difference.Re: Lifting tension on Rockwood A frameI saw a demo a week or so ago, maybe utube, the man raised his roof the usual way about half way then stepped inside and pushed it up the rest of the way.Re: Lifting tension on Rockwood A frameI have a 2014 Rockwood A122S hardside. At each end it has something like a torsion bar that is under tension when the top is closed and aids in lifting the roof. Yours should be the same. Look at both ends, there should be a short curtain across the end where the roof and wall come together. Lift it up at the corners and you should see a white metal rod about 3/8” in diameter, one at each corner. That is the ‘torsion bar’. I doubt that there is a way to tighten the tension on it. But not sure.Re: Rockwood 122 hard sideI have had 3 Rockwood campers, a travel trailer, pop-up (w/canvas type) and now a 2014 122s. Rockwood (Forest River) makes a very good product in my opinion and although I haven’t used my 122s very much yet I enjoy it very much. They are very easy and quick to set up and take down. I think you would enjoy it.Re: Hey where are all the A-Framers at?Hibernating, some of us. Waiting for spring. Next week I think it’s suppose to get above freezing here.Re: To keep our 98 Pop Up or by a new hard side pop upI sold my popup and bought a Rockwood hard side because of back problems. I was always afraid that I was going to aggravate my back while lifting the bunk ends to put in the supports. A bad way to ruin a good vacation. I’m glad I made the change. The hard side is very easy to put-up and takes only a few minutes. Talk to your kids, let them know your concerns and I’m sure they would support you if you make the change.Re: Safety in popup for single woman? If you won't something with hard sides and no bigger than a pop-up folded up, look at the Rockwood hardside a-frames.Re: Installing Electric Brakes on a PUPIt's sure nice to have trailer brakes. I'v been without them. Sounds like you did a good job.
