Your pup probably had a high pressure outside gas line....not a low pressure one like your TT. My camper is supposed to be ready tomorrow, but we have not heard a single word...no estimate, no confirmation that it is door, or that they found the source of the leak. I will let you know as soon as I hear. The stove was one of the things they were supposed to be able to solve for me.Re: Do I have to say goodbye to my outside stove?Yep...but I dont want a bbq. I have a bbq that came with the trailer. I want gas burners. A stovetop. Much harder to find.Re: Do I have to say goodbye to my outside stove?I may have gotten some VERY good news today! I had to bring our Roo in due to a water leak. (Hope and pray they find the source). While I was there, I asked about outside, 'low pressure' stove that could attach to our Roo (even thought I have been told that it doesn't exist). They said that Rockwood gives the option of a grill or stovetop when you buy new. She actually HAD a 3 burner stove (low pressure) to attach to the outside of the Roo in stock!!! She wasn't sure if it would be too heavy, though. Anyway....this may be the answer we were looking for. OUTSIDE cooking that can attach to the OUTSIDE gas hookup on the side of the trailer!!! I don't even care if it doesn't attach to the strip....we can put it on a table next to the trailer. I just wanted something I could hook into the existing gas that was meant for the outside grill! I'll let you know if it's too good to be true!Re: BUGS BUGS BUGS!Thank you all so much! We had an appointment to bring the trailer in today for the leak. (It is an active leak....dripping on the bed when the trailer is open). Thanks to the person who suggested checking out the stove vent. I took a look at it before I left...I didn't see any cover. The people at the service place were able to confirm....cover was gone. We had a big hole into the trailer....right next to the outside light! I am THRILLED that this will be fixed! Hopefully, they can figure out where the water is coming from, too!BUGS BUGS BUGS!We got a Rockwood Roo 233S this year. We love the trailer, but have had a couple of disappointments. One...it leaks. Two....there seems to be some way that bugs are getting in and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how. The bed ends are tightly sealed, the door is closed and sealed, windows closed. But, the trailer is full of mosquitoes at night. We close up, kill everything in sight, and within about 10 minutes, the trailer is swarming with bugs again. Is there some obvious way in that I am missing? This never happened in our old pop-up!Re: Do I need a battery charger?Update....We camped from Thursday night to Monday afternoon. The battery read between 1/3 and 1/2 when we left. Like I said, we use MINIMAL power when we are dry....we wear headlamps in the trailer (no lights), no fans, no radio, no furnace, etc. But, the basics are still running...fridge, alarms, etc. And, we do turn on the water once a day for dishes. It seems we didn't have a problem after all. But, I would love to know how to monitor the battery power. It looks like a multimeter measures AC power only. Is there a way to monitor, or sporadically check the battery power being used?Re: Do I need a battery charger?Yes...converter...whoops! We are dry camping and arrived around 11pm. Checked battery at 9am. The only thing we used battery for was a couple of led lights ..not an hour total...and about an hour of fridge use when I thought the gas wasnt working. How can I measure usage?Do I need a battery charger? We just a 2010 Rockwood Roo 233S. I added a second battery (both new), and plugged the camper in to charge for about 24 hours. The camper does have an inverter. After one night of camping (using almost no battery), the indicator inside the camper is reading 1/2 charge. I have a friend who said that the battery charger in the camper is not sufficient and you still need to use an external charger....but his camper is quite a bit older than mine. Does anybody know if this is true? Hoping I will have enough charge for this minimal usage weekend!Re: Do I have to say goodbye to my outside stove?Just to clarify...I am talking about a stove....not a grill. Side mounted grills are pretty easy to find with propane hookup.Re: Do I have to say goodbye to my outside stove? We are really hoping to use the hookup on the side of the camper for our stove, rather than carrying around another propane tank. I looked at Camp Chef's website. They say that "many" of their stoves are low-pressure and can be used with RV hookups, but they don't say WHICH ones!! I sent them a message and have yet to hear back. Does anybody know which ones work this way? I am wondering if the ones that are 30,000 BTU are low pressure, and the 60000 BTU are high pressure?
