R-RVB491 http://www.plastic-mart.com/product/802/48-gallon-rv-water-tank-rvb491 I had to move the center brace under the bed to just behind the converter. Leaving just enough room for the duplex wiring. Everything fit. Barely. JohnRe: Typical Class C GAS mileageMPG is dependent upon MPH. Your are driving a huge brick. I get 8.2 averaged over the last 4 years mostly level Midwest terrain at 62-65 MPH.Re: Storing Batteries in WinterSimple. Fully charge them then disconnect them. Mines out in a field with no electricity never any problem come spring.Re: Gas mileage E450 jrobert01 wrote: Well i worked for my money and i like to take care of it any way i can and the more gas mileage the better. That said i must be the worst driver or the worst something.I have had several motor homes over the past 30 years except for the Toyota i never get more than 7 and i drive 55 or 62 on interstate brake slowly accelerate slowly and try to get the best mileage i can but that is my best.I have a 2008 32ft.four winds and i live in Tn.Do a lot of long trips. Tell me why i get so much less mileage than everyone else.Lets go with the sarcasm. 2008 Fleetwood 32' 8 mpg at 62 mpg. I just accept it as part of RVing. If the roads are hilly it drops to 7.Re: is 11 y/o original spare still a spare? In 2010 my 98 Gulf Stream 22' blew a tire outside of Joplin Mo. Used the original spare to drive the 170 miles to my sisters in Ozark Ak. Then replaced the tire. If a spare is used just in a pinch I don't see the problem. I definitely would not use a 12 year old tire in normal service. It was a covered spare on the back bumper with no signs of cracks.Re: Fleetwood or Winnebago? My Fleetwood Tioga Ranger has a TPO roof. I have zero complaints about the quality of construction. The drawers are all roller, the appliances are the same as the Winnie. I have a 5000 lb rated hitch not sure why yours is 3500.Re: 2016 Coachmen Concord 300DS in dash head unithttp://www.jensenrvdirect.com/manuals-guidesRe: Battery winter storageFlooded lead acid batteries self discharge between 4 to 6 percent per month with discharge rates diminishing with lower temperatures. Typically a fully charged battery will suffer no ill effects being disconnected for winter. If you do choose to use a float charger use a holding relay to disconnect it from the battery in case the power fails. Make sure it is a float charger rated for your battery type. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Float_voltageRe: Battery winter storageWhich is exactly why I no longer use trickle chargers. If the kids unplug it from the extension cord the battery is toast 3 months later. My C sets in a field with no power available. I disconnect the battery and I've never had a problem starting it right back up in the spring. I do the same with my motorcycle - never had a problem. Except as stated above when the trickle charger was disconnected. Keep it simple.Re: Battery winter storageX2 Charge and disconnect. Easy peasy.
