We still have about 6 years but we are starting to do our homework now in finding out what clubs/memberships for travel discounts in RV parks we should join and if we should join any camping groups for more social activities. We live in Southern California and will be traveling around the United States. I love little towns so we will be staying away from the big cities. We have a list going but there are so many to choose from- Thousand Trails, Passport America, Harvest Host, America the beautiful pass, Recreation.gov,The Corp of engineers, Campendium.com, Hipcamp.com, Gov.org, National park senior pass, NationalParkService.gov, Nevada senior pass, Golden age pass, KOA, boondockerswelcome.com, Coast to coast premier membership, Escapees RV club, Good Sams, BLM Land - bureau of land management. Thanks!Campgrounds For Group CampingHello , Can anyone tell me if they know of any good campgrounds in Southern California that are nice for group camping? I am trying to plan a trip for next year and I want someplace nice. Thanks!Re: Where to look to buy a used campground membershipThank you all, I have searched everywhere and am now contacting friends who also belong to the campground to see if anyone wants to sell or knows anyone who wants to sell.Where to look to buy a used campground membershipDoes anyone know where we can look to buy a used campground membership? We belong to a RV campground but our friends want to buy a membership also. The RV campground wants $$$$ for a membership but we bought ours used and now our friends want one. Thanks!Re: What truck to buy next for towing Travel TrailerWe will definitely be looking at the Dodge Rams. Thank you everyone! What truck to buy next for towing Travel TrailerHi Everyone, We are in the processing of looking for another truck to tow our 35' Travel trailer. Our truck (2007 Ford F250 Diesel)is on it's last leg at 145,000 miles and it hasn't been such a great truck maintenance wise. We are now looking at the Chevy, Dodge and GMC. We have seen more Rams towing compared to the others. What do you tow your Travel Trailers with and should we stick with the diesel? Should we also get the 4X4 and what engine size should we look for. We have had the EGR valve replaced 3 times on this truck and it's time to move on. We decided no more Ford Trucks. Thanks!Re: Where to weigh your Travel trailerWe don't have very much where I live except we do have Trucker stops with scales not far away that I can probably get a close estimate of the weight from. The RV repair place we go to said that we were close to our truck towing weight so I am a little nervous to travel now. Even though we only have towels, pots and pans in it. We have a 2007 Ford F250 diesel truck.Where to weigh your Travel trailerDoes anyone know where to bring a travel trailer to be weighed?. I was told the trucker CAT scales are not the place to get the accurate weight for my RV. Thanks!Re: What truck to buy next for towing Travel TrailerOOP's sorry! We have a 2007 Keystone Springdale Travel Trailer about 33 Ft long.
