I would consider showing your potential buyer this thread so he can see you are not alone in your Carfax views on TC's.Re: part three of the broken frame saga.IMHO - for Northwood,....it is hard to argue with that. Not too many people I know are ready to upgrade to a F550 or F650.Re: memory foam mattress freezingDKS - perfect. Exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thank you to all.Re: memory foam mattress freezingCheck the floor plan here. 80 X 58 Same as I measured mine. https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2021-northwood-arctic-fox-camper-truck-camper-floorplan-811-tr49392memory foam mattress freezingWe are about to upgrade our stock 2013 AFox 811S mattress to a memory foam. I have become aware that the mattress box for our unit is not a standard queen, but 80 x 58 x 8. Therefore it has to be a custom order. I think I have found the right place to buy from but before I do,....I have issue with Toronto, Canada winter freezing temps. I know the mattress will freeze up over the winter but it won’t be in use until the spring. I have no intentions of bringing it into the house for the winter. The best info I have come up with so far (outside of TC forums) is that the freezing/thawing sequences will degrade the mattress lifespan from 8 years to about 6 years. If anyone has had experience with this issue we would love to hear it before we purchase.Re: Michelin commercial tire lifespanGrit Dog,...correct,...not 220,....120 psi (typo)Michelin commercial tire lifespanI have a set of Michelin XDS2 commercial tires. 245/70 R19.5 16 ply, Load range H, up to 220 PSI. Our camper is an AFox 811. There is tons of tread left on these (all tires with approx. same tread wear if not identical). However these are 7 years old now and I am wondering if anyone has run tires like this beyond the recommended 7 year lifespan ??Re: Sway bar for F350 piaWe have a 2011 F350, diesel, XLT shortbox, SRW. Firestone Ride-rite airbags & Hellwig Bigwig rear sway bar go together fine.Re: Stablecamper Install / Water TankI installed mine on our 2013 Arctic Fox 811 and we find them very effective. Not 100% but **** close. The company will have all the details on your camper & will be able to tell you if you can do it safely. One note – when installing the hangers for the long bars do so when they are extended as close as they need to be when using them. I had them short and now each time I take them down I have to turn & turn & turn forever to get them long enough to use.Re: Rickson contact problemI thought they closed up a couple of years ago. That leaves us I believe with only Vision's as far as 19.5's go.
