The last time we were there. We stayed at the KOA in order to be close to Temple Square. Right next door to the KOA was a large long term rv park. I inquired to the KOA staff and they said that both parks were owned by the same people. We were there last year for Memorial Day (or could have been the year before). We were in a Class AAA site (50 amp, full), not sure what loop that is in but we had no problems. Just doing walk around, I don't recall saying, "I would not stay in that site". My sister and niece did some kayaking on the lake. In Carthage, MO is Colaw RV Salvage. Claim to be the largest in the nation. They told me (I was looking for a ladder for my camper) they had 56 acres of stuff a guy could hunt thru. They are just off I-44, exit 22 I think.181Views0likes0CommentsRe: Hershey PA campground recommendations
We have stayed at the Hershey Resort several times. The lower level in the trees gets you the full hookup sites. At that time we were in a 42' motorhome and had not problem getting in and out. The shuttle over to the park is a nice plus.394Views0likes0Comments
