"YELP" is also a good traveling app that can provide information on the different businesses that are near you that you may want to patronize.Re: Garmin 760I agree with the most of the responses posted. When we plan a LONG trip, we first use map quest to look at the overall planned directions and routes that will best get us to our destination. Then we look at an Atlas, then obtain paper maps and outline the route. When on the road, we follow our outlined written directions, using the GPS to help us with necessary lane changes, turns ect. Now if the GPS deviates from our maps, we follow the maps until the GPS changes the route to coincide with our original mapped out route.Re: Hwy 99 CaliforniaHwy 99 is a much nicer route, also lots of exits and places for food and fuel. I believe it is safer as well, if you need repair service, you will be hard pressed to find it on I-5.Re: I Phone 6 ReviewsI have been waiting a long while for Apple to manufacture a larger screen like the Android. I lOVE, LOVE my iPhone Plus. It is wonderful, especially for those of us who are challenged in seeing close up. It makes surfing the net and playing games so much easier. I cannot think of any negative aspects of a larger screen. I highly recommend making the purchase.Re: Before a trip should I turn off the water of my house?I have a friend who is a plumber and he always shuts off his main water valve to his house without having any problems. We never shut it off because we need the pool sweep to function and need water for our pool caretaker.Re: Hwy 126 between 5 & VenturaWe stayed @ Valencia RV Resort http://www.valenciatravelvillagellc.com It is one mile from Hwy 5.Re: Need counter space... looking for ideasI bought this granite kitchen cart to add some counter space. It was small enough yet very nice and reasonably priced as well. http://www.wayfair.com/Linon-Ledgeview-Kitchen-Cart-with-Granite-Top-LQ1743.htmlRe: Cell Phone Signal BoosterI have this one and it definitely improves the signal and is worth every penny (it is a little pricey). http://www.wilsonelectronics.com/store/display/245/38/mobile-4gRe: Jeeps - Patriot vs Liberty vs Compass vs CherokeeWe tow a Jeep Patriot. However, only standard transmissions are towable for the Patriot. It is a reasonably priced vehicle and relatively light (3,100 lbs.) as well.Re: cops stopping youI cannot see where any LEO would ask you if you are living in your RV, unless you are parking it in a spot that is illegal or in a spot where you are overstaying your welcome, such as a Walmart Parking lot. There are people who appear to be vagrants and are making a nuscience of themselves by loitering or panhandling. LEO's generally will not stop you unless they have recieved a complaint or there are some surrounding suspicious activity. I personally would never allow anyone to search my rig unless they are in possession of a search warrant.
