All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Water Heater SwitchI can get some photos after this weekend. Not going to be there at all. It seems to have no bearing on the water heater itself. Maybe they replaced the original one. Which is a possibility. I don't have any paperwork for it nor can I find any online anywhere for the camper itself. Figured I'd give it a shot.Water Heater SwitchHey All, I recently acquired a 99 Prowler Lite. No many features like the newer campers but its a place to sleep at night. I don't travel with it. It stays at a seasonal site. So here my question. I have to manually light the pilot for hot water. However I have this switch. Whats the point. LoL or what am I missing. The water heater seems to work no what position the switch is in. Any help is greatly appreciated. water heater switch by Jesse Conway, on FlickrRe: Heating Question (Cycle on and Off)Poor design in ours as for where the windows and thermostat are pretty much. LoL. Again....If we had normal weather for this time of the year I'd be ok. LoL Its not a big deal for the most part. I'll have to have some wine before bed. That tends to make me sleepy!Re: Heating Question (Cycle on and Off)Analog thermostat. Controls the AC Unit as well. Yeah I'm figuring heat loss but I wasn't sure. I know it was cold last night. LoL Definitely have to figure out something else cause not sleeping is getting old. Wish we'd actually have some May temps. Not January temps. LoLHeating Question (Cycle on and Off)Hey All, I;ll start by telling you what camper I have. 2004 Sunnybrook Solanta 3610. Last night it was probably into the high 30's. I had my thermostat set for 65. Heat comes on no problem. But it seems to cycle on and off. Come on and last maybe 5-10 mins then shuts off and comes back on in 10 mins. Any ideas. Or is it just loosing heat that fast. It could be. Just curious. It sucks for trying to sleep. LoLRe: Power Converter Issue/QuestionsPretty sure the issue is the converter itself. However I already bought the correct fuses and will try that first. beemerphile1 wrote: jconway1006 wrote: ...the two 30 amp fuses were blown. You would rather buy and replace the converter than install the correct size fuse? :h Re: Power Converter Issue/QuestionsI'll have to look them up. I'm just praying this fixes my issues. I've have a rough two weeks of bad luck and I'm hoping this doesn't continue the trend. LoL time2roll wrote: The Wizard is better for the battery in all conditions. The 12 Volt Side of Life Re: Power Converter Issue/QuestionsNo charge wizard yet. I'm always plugged into power where we camp. Plus I'm new to this. LoL.Re: Power Converter Issue/QuestionsRoy, Going back to last Sunday I hooked it up wrong at first. Only tried to put my slide and realized I had something wrong. Moving forward to this past Friday I got back to camp and had no issues whatsoever. I ran my hot water, lights, and inside fridge without any issues. It was only Sunday morning I realized we didn't have any power to the fridge, then I tried the lights and thought I had a bad 75amp push/pull switch in my fuse box. We tested for power at that fuse box and had nothing. Eventually we traced the wires to the converter. If you saw the above posts the two 30 amp fuses were blown. I put 20's in because I didn't have the 30's and they blew just as fast. I'm ok with ordering a new converter. The part of me just wanted to know if I'm going to blow the new one out. Since I ran off battery up until it died I believe the rest of my "system" is going to be ok. I really wasn't unsure of what the problem is or was at this point. Starting with the converter is the quickest solution to fix the problem.Re: Power Converter Issue/QuestionsI'm charged back up for now and I have it disconnected till I get the new converter. Seems like it took a little beating. I'm gonna keep an eye on it once I get everything back up and running. Thanks for all the help guys. I feel a little better about this issue.
