One morning the wife, a true die hard , born and raised Texan, went out the kitchen door to the patio. As she opened the screen door a BIG black snake fell on her arm!!!!!!!! Without a worn she walks over to the fence and drops it on the other side. Now I am like a lot of out there!!!!!!!!! A snake is a snake is a snake!!!!!!!!!!Then she proceeds to tell me stories of her and her sister when they were little entertaining themselves by boiling lizards and such. When asked why they moved to the "city" she response with.." my mother got tired of the rattlesnakes always coming into the house" That's Hard Core Texan!!!! !!!!!!Re: How Much Stuff Do You Bring for a Weekend Trip?My wonderful wife sits down and writes out the menu for the entire week, we pack the items she needs to fulfill the meal. We carry only the clothes we plan on wearing. That's it. Now on the other hand, if we are making a month long or longer trip, the cab's get packed with the can goods dry goods etc. YOU GET THE PICTURE. But in her defense, we are in our late 60's and we still enjoy what we see sometimes in an RV park. I have a f150/ hyperteck modification. before the mod pulling my starcraft26 ftI got 8-9 mpg, after hyperteck I get 11-12.8 pulling. I'm still debating about f250. Pulled from tx to mt and back and had no problems with hills.( after hyperteck) I will pull maybe 5 weeks per year. 2 weeks at a time (about) would it benifit me , with what I have informed you about to switch to a F250 diesal. 150 is only 2 yrs old. 22,000 miles. need advice
