Without an 18 digit VIN, I don't see anywhere to get a report. Any ideas?Re: Is this the biggest/heaviest TC on the market? How is the camper attached to the truck bed? I see what may be small tiedowns on the front, but they don't look big enough to keep it in place, and nothing in sight for the rear.Re: No power getting to my Angler 8C, 2001It might also be a bad GFI outlet or breaker. try a non GFI to see what happens before you tear into it. Or try the generator to see what happens.Re: Choices in non-basement truck campers? As this is probably going to be a permanent mount, why not get one of those giant azz sleeper rigs I see going down the road? probably would have a lot more room. You then would have access directly from the cab without running around to the back. https://roadlesstraveledfinance.com/biggest-semi-truck-sleeper-cabs/#:~:text=Biggest%20Semi-Truck%20Sleeper%20Cabs%20%5B5%20Unbelievable%20Custom%20Builds%5D,this%20video%20on%20YouTube.%20...%206%20Conclusion%20Re: Good Sam or KOAWe are not KOA members, but have stayed a couple of their parks in the last few years. If you offer to pay cash you can get the same discount as if you were a member. We have never had a bad KOA experience, but it seems you pay more for a lot of extras that we never use. Kids stuff, pool, etc.Re: Looking for a post Christmas sale on Lithium batteries 3 tons wrote: OP says, “who has a sale going on good quality lithium batteries?” There’re a number of variables to consider that impact quality - please clarify “good quality”… 3 tons Something that will last 10+ years and be trouble free. what more could you ask for?Looking for a post Christmas sale on Lithium batterieswho has a sale going on good quality lithium batteries? I saw this one, but they don't have built in heaters, which I may not even need here in Florida... https://dakotalithium.com/product/dakota-lithium-12v-100ah-deep-cyle-lifepo4-marine-solar-battery/Re: Ordering F-350 7.3 CCLB SRW - how big of camper can I get? Good Luck. I hope you get it quickly. (hope you even get it by next camping season) Thanks. I have an out if it doesn't arrive by June. It is the quickest job code and highest retail priority code so I'm hopeful. Also gas have been faster apparently. But the Fifth wheel prep package worries me about adding delays. I added it to get the bed 7 pin connector. Maybe I should have just had it installed after the fact. But labour is expensive here in Canada. On my 2019 F250, the plug cost about $50 online. Plug it in under the bed, cut a small hole and install in bed. About a half hour including time to figure out where you want to put the hole.Re: Ordering F-350 7.3 CCLB SRW - how big of camper can I get? What others have failed to mention is everything you put in the cab of the truck counts toward the carrying capacity. You, the wife, the kids, the carseats, tools, dog, etc... Add in a half a tank of fresh water and you are probably close to the 1000 pound estimate without food, beer, clothes, etc.Re: New to truck campersAt least one major manufacturer is switching to all 12V refrigerators for 2023.That is Nu-Camp Cirrus line. They claim it is the wave of the future. They are using 12 Isotherm Cruise 130 refrigerators that draw 4.7 amps/hour. and now have 100 amp hour Battle Born batteries standard, with a 500 amp hour upgrade option (for about 10K) Maybe the new 12V fridges are different than those of a few years ago?
