And yes, before you ask, it's not a water leak hissing noise. It is an air hiss on the incoming hose of the pump. The pump keeps running and running and won't shut off. I replaced the 90" elbow that snaps to the pump and hose clamps to the input water line hose. This fixed the problem, yes fixed it, but it seems only temporarily. The hiss is back. What is going on here? How could the same part be bad after only 2-3 camping trips under my belt? I have inspected the incoming and outgoing hoses and no obvious tears or leaks were noted. Does the pump need to be replaced?Re: Slammers'Old Days'... Ditto, Ditto, and more Ditto. Only exception is not as many married years in as you.Re: Definition of camping?Tent $350 on MasterCard Campstove $75 on MasterCard Waking up in a campground.......pricelessRe: Parking on steep drivewayMy driveway is not anything near that steep and if I hit it at a straight angle it bottoms out and scratches the driveway. You'll need to try to hit it at an angle to have a chance.Re: Heartland travel trailersInteresting thread. I recently discovered a leak thru butyl tape around a window in which the water ran thru the wall of the trailer, exiting at the bottom of the trailer thru the black mesh skirt. The only damage was to the wood stick frames in the wall. But this made me wonder if a leak test could have caught such a leak. Has anyone have an experience where a leak test actually caught a leak thru a wall like this?Re: Door County & Green Bay Hall of FameAbout 20 miles North East of Green Bay toward Door County is Bay Shore Park. It's first come first served (no check-in office) and right on the bay of Green Bay. I would recommend it. Bay Shore ParkRe: home brew in our ttI'm a homebrewer myself. Disconnect or shut off your CO2 supply to the keg. The shaking from road travel would likely over-carb your beer. Beyond that some of the sediment at the bottom of the keg might get shaken back into the beer, but that's not a problem. Let me know how that works, I've thought about doing the same.Re: all put awaySlightly off topic, but I like your canoe mounts. Are those wood supports bolted to the tongue frame and bumper?Re: Patio rug blowing away?I always put the cooler full of beer on it. Would never go camping without that!Re: RV BBQOnly you can decide for yourself if you like it or not. You already have it, so give it a go. You might find it's better than a lot of other portable grills available. For example the Coleman tailgater grill, good idea but very low BTU.
