Re: 180 Day Window Opening
As most of you know I have / was always a Reservation Guy. Why? I want to get to a destination, know the campground I am in, know I have a spot I / we can get settled in and start enjoying why we are there. And not thrown into the last spot next to the dump station. And not spending that time driving from rv park to rv park trying to find an opening - and then, many times, at a place I would not want to stay because it is the only place with openings - with probably a reason for that. Wow, thank all of you so much. I have not been on here in a while and this was so wonderful to see! I will stop by on occasion as some things really don't change. Have met so many great people on the Forum and, yes, a few them in person.....Ken & Allison for a short visit that was great ... many others over the years. And some on the phone. Our truck and 5er will be on the market shortly - 2006 Chev Dura / Allison (117k miles) and 2006 Mobile Suites 32. Both is excellent mech condition but, as one could understand, show like they are a 2006 vintage. We got about every option MS & Chev offered. Good units. God bless all of you and I will check in from time to time. Most of you know I have been active on here for many years. It has been my basic source of information and I have been glad to share Barbara, Sadie (woof) and my experiences over 21 years of part time rv'ing in the 11 western states and 2 western provinces; staying in 193 different rv places - many several times. But our rv'ing life is over. Three weeks ago I had open heart surgery for valve and vein replacement. It was very successful and in a few months I will be back to normal. Thank you - and thanks for the chuckle. Sad day. We were in Banff this day in 2001. OMG, Busskipper, the colors just keep improving. Absolutely beautiful. Have driven Red Mountain Pass to near the top (once to the top) 4 times so far and just getting better - 3 times alone for photo work and once with Barbara and Sadie. We drove from Ouray to To Hell U Ride today and blown away. Doing Red Mountain tomorrow again to the mine / old town - the three of us.
