Maybe 8” to 10” But with that 7.5” compressed I’m losing 1.5 to 2” more with the shock side bushings I’m looking at the stroke length which would only give me a inch or so right.?Re: Who makes the shocks?Yes, that only gave me 11” with wheels off the ground.Re: Who makes the shocks?Tryed every where, auto parts, dexter, lippert , etrailer. That’s where I’m thinking a Jayco welded the upper bracket to the frame in the wrong place, that’s why I can’t find a shock that will fit.Re: Who makes the shocks?I tried the yellow ones they have an 8 1/2 inch compressed length could not even get the stems in the holes. The black ones (standard)are the ones with the 7 1/2 inch compressed length which if you do the math with the bushings you lose approximately 1 1/2” with the bushings, so that only leaves about 1 inch or so of stroke, if they would even fit in the holes. I only have 10 1/2 inches between the mounts. I contacted Lippert and dexter axle, and they couldn’t even give me an answer.Re: Who makes the shocks? Thanks for the info.Re: Who makes the shocks?12”Who makes the shocks?I have a 2023 Jayco 31MB, it comes with a four-star handling package, which includes shock absorber mounts. The distance between the mounds is 10 1/2 inches. The only shocks I found that might fit, have a 7 1/2 inch compressed length Which would only give a 1 inch of stroke so that won’t work. The dealer email jayco a month ago and still got no reply! What’s up with that! I think I discovered a design flaw. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem or may have found shocks that fit.
