Thanks all.. The tank is empty (valid concern) so no worries. The plywood however, there doesn't appear to be any but I have yet to drop the underbody so I am not certain.. I'm getting further into it tomorrow.. I'll update afterwards..

Update..Cleaned plugs, removed fuel filter at the carb, drained the carb and gave a thorough cleaning with carb cleaner, drained old fuel and replaced with new. Started up with little effort. Will be replacing the fuel filter at the fuel pump, plugs,...
