Some times it just would not acquire the satellites, but once it did it worked fine. Worked fine at Branson, but the Springfield locals were only available in SD due to the Western arc change. Worked fine in Toad Suck, Arkansas this morning. This evening in Livingston, TX....nothing. Does the VQ4500 frome King still work ? The VQ4500 is unaffected by the changes made, and should still work. If you are still experiencing issues with your system, please call KING tech support at 952-922-6889. It worked great. I was watching Directv within a couple of minutes. There is only about a one foot run of coax that can be seen, so it's not a major problem to run the coax directly to the power injector next to the receiver for us. That could be an issue for others. I like the fact that the antenna power goes down the one coax cable, but bypassing your RV satellite connections and running straight to the supplied power injector may be an issue for some people. Keith, It is likely there is an issue with the coax running through your coach or it may not be rated for satellite TV. ChrisRe: I may have fried my Jack Antenna Please help CanuckRV wrote: So I fired up my Jack Antenna this morning and auto programed the TV and every thing was fine. This afternoon I thought I would see what was on and got a no signal message from my TV I thought I might have unplugged the Jack adapter by mistake but it was fine switched outlets but still no signal. I grabbed the volt meter to test the outlets and they were good, I checked the output from the adapter to make sure it was working, instead of showing 12V dc it was 19.5Vdc. Did it fry the antenna also? or is the a fuse inside that would have kept it from over powering? or is everything going to be OK if I can find a new adapter? I am with KING, the manufacture of the Jack. 19 volts is not going to be enough to fry the antenna. If you have voltage to the antenna head, but you do not receive any channels, then it is probably a defective antenna head. Feel free to contact me at 952-345-8151 or chris.waples@kingconnect.com for a replacement head. thanks Chris Waples Service ManagerRe: DirecTV DVR with King Dome - How to use 2 tunersTony, I am with KING the manufacture of your dome. In clear view of the sats it almost never locks in on them, and that's running RG6 straight from the Tailgater to the receiver bypassing the 5er sat hookups. Its never been right since the day I got it. Very seldom do I ever get all the channels. I almost threw it in the lake last weekend. After two days of moving it, and three calls to dish tech,I finally gave up and watched regular tv. Try calling the manufacturer, King Controls in Bloomington, MN. I had a problem with mine and they determined one of the motors inside was bad. GREAT service and they were easy to work with. They sold me the part and told me how to install it myself. It should work much better than it does. B.O. Happy Camper, I am with KING, the manufacture of the Tailgater. I would like to fix the issues you are having with your Tailgater.
