If you can lay the line with constant fall from one end to the other, there should be no freezing issues. Mine falls directly into the septic tank and drains completely by gravity. If you have some dips in the line, you could push a pig (plug made of sponge or fabric) through the line with compressed air to purge it for the winter. Seems like a lot of people confuse DEF and DPF. DEF is the fluid that is used to reduce NOX. DPF is the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust system. Its purpose is to trap soot. While both are emissions equipment, they are separate systems.402Views0likes0CommentsRe: Opinions on new toy hauler

That is pretty much how the RV industry works. I don't know of any manufacturers that provide a comprehensive manual for their trailers. Another little tip for increasing refrigerator efficiency in the camper. Freeze bottled water at home and place several of them throughout the fridge in the camper. The ice lasts quite a long time and the frozen mass really helps keep the overall temperature down. I generally use 5 each 16.9 oz water bottles in mine. They usually last 2+ days. If I remember to do it, I try to put the bottles back in the freezer before I go to be and swap them back to the fridge in the morning. Even if the fridge is struggling, the freezer is still usually doing its job! Marathons are definitely not an option for a heavy trailer. You would be better off getting the G614s and only inflating them to 80 psi. They will still have the same load rating as any of the E tires mentioned and they are a lot tougher tire.276Views0likes0Comments
