Mine falls directly into the septic tank and drains completely by gravity. If you have some dips in the line, you could push a pig (plug made of sponge or fabric) through the line with compressed air to purge it for the winter. The distance and head that you describe should work fine with the pump.Re: Trouble seems to follow us... zedd wrote: Please cite the source for these 'facts'. And Fox 'News' is not an acceptable source. And I guess CNN and MSNBC are?Re: Trouble seems to follow us...Seems like a lot of people confuse DEF and DPF. DEF is the fluid that is used to reduce NOX. DPF is the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust system. Its purpose is to trap soot. While both are emissions equipment, they are separate systems.Re: Opinions on new toy hauler Spleenstomper wrote: We looked at Voltage and liked them, but eliminated them from our search after I googled and discovered the seemingly endless issues owners were complaining about. I also noticed in my Craig's list searches, the voltage is the brand that seemed most for sale, even gently used ones. YMMV This information is spot on with my observations. Voltage was on my short list when I bought my Fuzion and got eliminated mainly due to a lack of interior storage compared to the Fuzion. It was after my purchase that I really started to pay attention the lopsided amount of initial problems that Voltage owners seem to have compared to the other brands/models. They have a lot of really neat features, but they also seem to have a lack of quality.Re: onnan 5500 generatorI guess the dumb question is what does the oil level look like?Re: First camp in fuzion 342 questionsThat is pretty much how the RV industry works. I don't know of any manufacturers that provide a comprehensive manual for their trailers. With as often as they change components even mid-year, it is easier for them just to bag up all the manuals that came with all the components that they used to build your trailer.Re: First camp in fuzion 342 questionsAnother little tip for increasing refrigerator efficiency in the camper. Freeze bottled water at home and place several of them throughout the fridge in the camper. The ice lasts quite a long time and the frozen mass really helps keep the overall temperature down. I generally use 5 each 16.9 oz water bottles in mine. They usually last 2+ days. If I remember to do it, I try to put the bottles back in the freezer before I go to be and swap them back to the fridge in the morning. Even if the fridge is struggling, the freezer is still usually doing its job! EDIT: I see somebody already posted about the water bottles while I was munching on my lunch and taking my time to reply.Re: Tire replacement on Voltage 3200Marathons are definitely not an option for a heavy trailer. You would be better off getting the G614s and only inflating them to 80 psi. They will still have the same load rating as any of the E tires mentioned and they are a lot tougher tire.Re: First camp in fuzion 342 questionsSounds like a backup camera for the Fuzion would be a good investment! Man I wish I had the problem of not being able to get backed into my enclosed storage unit! LOLRe: Tire replacement on Voltage 3200Your 3200 probably has wheels similar to my Fuzion. Molded on the inside or back of the wheel is a load rating. My factory wheels are rated to 110 psi!
