My understanding of a hybrid is that if you are not acelerating the wheels are generating energy to charge the batties? I would assume the car is in neutral with the key in the acc. Position or is there a way to put it in neutral and still get the key into off position?Re: New toy hauler newbieI dont think either one is better than the other but if the heve a diffrent layout you want to get which ever one seems more usable to you. I would recamend( if you can) spred time in the rv pretending to do things you would do if it was yours and were using it on a trip. I find that one of the biggest things for my wife and i was how the bathroom felt. I cant stand how some of the toy haulers the bathroom is so small that you cant reach for the tp without banging an elbow into somthing. Some if you imagin yourself drying off after a shower, there is no way to do it whith out constantly smacking the walls and door.Re: Outdoors RV Trailers & Thermal PaneLance TT are available with 4 seasons packageRe: Colorodo river adventures dicknellen wrote: With what FrankoToo said you would be better off taking you trailer and going elsewhere and have a nice relaxing weekend. JM2ยข... Dick Yeah i think you have the right idea. I hate being sold to so much that I've almost paid car salesmen NOT to talk to me while looking at a new vehicles. So,I think I'd rather just save my self the headache thanks for the replies everyone. DaveRe: Colorodo river adventuresWe are definitely not planing on buying since we are in our 30's and raising a baby, we will likely only be able to go camping (even just for a weekend) 6-8 times a year, and most Likely will not go to the same place more than once per year.Re: Colorodo river adventuresNot sure I understand. What's a resale membership? Should I not go to the sales pitch that we scheduled? Will we be getting any usefull camping nights if we decline to purchase the membership?Colorodo river adventuresDoes anyone have a membership with them? We were given a year free with the purchase of our new trailer. We just have to sit thru a sales pitch befor outer first stay then we get one year free membership and 30 nights free. The closest and only one we would probably go to is on Pollock Pines, CA. Called ghost mnt. Ranch. Any experience with them here? Thoughts?Re: Our new Lance 2212 Strabo wrote: HMBdave wrote: Strabo wrote: Im not that impressed with them, but thats MHO. Plastic wood, thin chassis frames, no ovens they dont even come standard with a spare tire. I live near the factory and know people who either work there or own a new Lance camper. I do have an oven/ stove combo as well as a microwave. And I have a spare tire. Not sure what the plastic wood is but I know that the special light weight formaldehyde free plywood they use for the cabinets and doors is way lighted than the solid wood used in my old toy hauler allowing for more cabinets and storage tan I previously had for about the same weight. Their maybe a better built toy hauler out there but I'm not aware of it. My inlaws have a brand new 16' TT from Lance, and i swear thats how it came from the Lance factory in our town, The frame is light weight bolt together with holes to make it light, didnt like that either. Oh, ok your talking about the TT which I don't know too much about as I have their toy hauler and never looked into the TT but I think your talking about two differnt beasts here. Those TTs are made to but super light and towed by an average suv and only made to hold about 1000 pounds of cargo. I don't think they need to be build like something made to carry heavy atv's and other toys out into unpaved areas. Built for different purposes. Anyway I respect your right to a diffrent opinion and thanks for sharing.Re: Our new Lance 2212 Racerx11 wrote: What sold me on the Lance brand were this series of videos: Pricey yes, but I believe you get what you pay for. https://www.youtube.com/user/LanceTrailer/videos Especially this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjHjWv5wJWY Sounds like you've already made up your mind.
